    Steroids, the media and hype!

I have been noticing the shocking number of kids 21 and under that come here for cycle advise and help with a source. When I was 21 steroids were the last thing from my mind, girls being first (still is) but it got me to thinking about the way the media portrays steroids as this magic pill or shot that will turn you into this hulking monster with supernatural powers.

The old saying is there is no such thing as bad advertising no matter the horror stories they spew out the more they make it seam like anybody that is caring any kind of muscle must be on AAS the more it will appeal to those desperate for those results believing that is the only way of achieving them of course ignoring the plain old hard work and years of dedication that we have endured that they will never have the determination to achieve because they are looking for a secret potion that doesn't exist before they even try to see what they are truly made of they might even surprise themselves if they would try.

I guess what I am saying is I think the media and in all there glory chasing drama and ratings have glorified AAS to the younger generation that they actually believe training naturally is a waste of time. Well this is just some thoughts that have gone through my mind right or wrong its something to consider.

Yeah, I know. I just figure, if you can't scare them away from steroids by telling them the possible long term side affects, possible lifetime of HRT and everything else, it is almost pointless. I refuse to give cycle advice to someone who is too young, some other may be willing to help them out with it, but I won't take part in it.

If you come on here asking for advice, and you are too young, yet don't want to listen to the advice being given..... good luck, and hope you have excellent health insurance in the long term.

I do aggree that the media portrays AAS as an evil magic drug that will make you instantly full of muscles with no effort/work. I think alot of people think of it like magic because they don't understand it, and no-one will educate them because society seems scared to openly discuss AAS.

It reminds me of the Dinosaurs tv show from back in the 90s. The son took some steroids to get stronger for football. He took one oral pill at night, and woke up the next day huge/muscley. He kept taking them and started growing spikes all over his body. It was so cool, he looked like a super hero.

This is a good topic. It would be tough being a 20 year old now. Think about it you've grown up that there is a magic pill for everything. Everything can be solved by taking some type of pill so if you want to get in shape just take a pill. If you want to lose weight hey take a pill. If you want to get an erection take a pill...

The younger guys just don't get it that it takes years of hard work and sweat equity to get the results you want. Without that all the steroids in the world won't really help you out.

its not just AAS for the young guys, pharmacutical companys do it to! got insomnia? take a pill! depressed? take a pill! need somehting else with your depression pill? take another pill! have a little pain? take a pill!and so forth and so forth and so forth. its Americas pharmacutical companys that do that. when it gets pounded in your heard since your old enough to actually retain the memory of thses commercials, it sets us up to think just take somthing and your cured! the dang government to supports it cause they most likly get some money from it

same goes for plastic surgery and everything. somhow we got into thinking something will be our "magical pill"(i qouted that cause surgery is not a pill"

Only exception is if you REALLY NEED IT. i got crohns disease, and i need that medicine to help. or if your a burn victim and so forth...

its kinda sad, cause im under 21 and i sorta think that way... same with my brother who is over 21...
