Sodini was keeping an online diary where it appears as if he was planning the shooting for about nine months. He also detailed on the site how he attempted to carry out the shooting once before, but backed out.

It's crazy to think that a totally different group of people would be dead if he had went through it the first time... Man there's some fcked up people in this world we live in.

It's seems that these unstable individuals are always, for the most part, pre-meditated in there murders.

Then, due to the fact, they are mentally unstable, they kill themselves after the murders.

Why don't they cut to the chase and kill themselves first, and do society a favor.

and according to the BBC website his online blog stated how he was angry at the world because he couldnt form relationships either platonic or loving. He said there were approx 30million women in the USA who would meet his expectations but he couldnt find anyone. He also stated he had no real control over his life over the last 30 years.

No ref to steroids and the pic of the guy shows he's not big. The point is he was angry at women his age because he couldnt find a partner and was lonely. Maybe he needed gear to boost his self esteem!

I don't think you can profile these nut jobs, they are what they are, it's that simple...

I can see the gun control debate heating up again!!! Left side will say guns need to be controlled and regulated because of instances of this. Right side will say this would have never happened if the ladies at the club were packin!!!

I don't want to get into that debate again, but regulation wouldn't help it either. What would have stopped him from grabbing a knife due to a lack of gun and stabbed a bunch of them to death? Not hard to do. The only problem is he might not be able to stab himself to death knowing that it might be a slow death SOOOOOO we would have to pay for his punk ass to rott in a prison somewhere.

from what i have read, this is the first time ever that a concealed weapons permitt was used in the event of a crime.. so though its the first and only. i'm sure people will use it as an example of needing more gun control
