    My DVDs won't work!!!!

    Whatsup guys
I'm trying to burn DVDs, I have a DVD RW, and use CONVERTX DVD
    DSM suggested I use it.

It only worked once, now the one that worked does not.

I get an error message saying wrong disc or incorrect disk with every ****ing dvd...even if it says operation complete ( the burning program)

How do I take care of that?
    All my downloads wasted????????????

    TOBIAS

You might also want to make sure that
    1) the CD your trying to use to burn hasn't already been used. A lot of times when a burn fails it still writes to the CD which destroys it.
2)You might want to try a different CD brand. The only brand i use for burning movies are TDK.
    3) Make sure you aren't burning more info than the CD can handle. If you have a 74 min CD and the movie you are burning is 80min long the program will tell you have the incorrect CD because it can't handle that size burn.

    I have a toshiba DVD.
On top of everything, when I open it with the computer it plays!!!!

And other DVDs work on my DVD player.
    Something's up!

How much can a 4.7gb carry? Maybe it's too much for my DVD Player?

From what it sounds like, doesn't seem as thought you are doing something wrong. It would seem to me that the program is not recognizing the CD.
Again either bad CD (already burned) / Bad make, try a diff one / Maybe issue with you burner and the program , maybe want to try a diff program.

You are saying that the program converts the file, then asks you to put in a CD which after you do it tells you the CD is invalid and to insert another ?

The "operation" goes just fine. The program says it was a successful write.
Then it asks for a burn. Then it gets burnt, and after that operation is complete.

I put it in my DVD and it takes a whole 2 mins just to tell me it's Incorrect disk, and the DVD Player, which sits at the bottom of the screen, simply says "bad" (without quotations).

OK I Just got a keygen to this program so now I have the full version of convertx

When I go to Settings > Burning

I have the option of where to burn.
It says Sony DVD + RW AW - Q16OS etc...

My computer is a DELL< and the DVDs are office depot.

The other option is ISO Image in working folder.

Ohhhh sorry i misunderstood you. If the CD is burning complete, plays on your PC then it might be the DVD player or the type of disc. Try a different DVD player (maybe a buddies or something). I use to have read problems with the memorex DVD's.

    Thats bullshit man.
I just used I Tunes do it, and my bros computer opened it (a mac).

My dvd just doesn't open it....it pisses me off .
It seems it does not have an automatic open function (the DVD does not click on the file once opened).

Can you play a normal dvd? If so, the problem is obviously not the dvd player.

If you are burning dvds that are not playing it is either a) the brand sucks or b) the codec your software uses is shit.

I had the same problem (I think its the same) when I first started burning movies where theyd play on my computer but not in other machines. I bought new dvds and nothing changed.

I wasn't till I went through 2 more dvd burning programs that I figured out thats what it was, some just don't convert right. But the one I settled with was Xilosofts Dvd creator. It burns ANYTHING and never had a dvd not work since getting it.

So maybe try another brand dvd, if that doesnt work change the software.

he is using convert x to dvd . its the best programme around . and it still could be his dvd player some are just fussy . i have a phillips one in the games room and the fecker wont play anything but orginals , no matter what brand of disc i use . buy yourself a divx player m8 then you dont even need to convert the films just burn as a file and this way you can burn 7 8 films on to one disc too . best money i ever spent

There is nothing wrong with the program. He says the burnings are completing fine. Its the DVD player reading the disc thats the problem.

Tobia - first try your office depot CDs on another DVD player.
