Anyone ever use magicjack?

Its the phone system you plug into your computer to save money on your phone bill, just wondering if anyone here has used it and if u reccomend it or not.

you use your internet connection, and yes the calls are free, but at at times the clarity of the call can get distorted if you are surfing the internet.

also, when choosing your phone number, there are only a limited amount of area code that are available to choose from.

So,

a) if you have a fast internet connection

and

b) if you are agreement with the area codes they have to offer when selecting your phone number

it is a GREAT deal.

I use it. It works pretty good for the money. I only have t so we dont go over our min's with cell phones.

All area codes were available. Some times the line has a robotic sound to the voice. Some times people cannot hear you at all. But these have been few and far between for us.

But for under $20 per year it is great IMO.

I have skype and it works great, more and more people starting to use it.

I'm in iraq and alot of guys bought it and brought them.. and at some of the bases were people had internet in their rooms people loved them
