I'm big..no I am small..i'm big, i'm small
I cannot be the only one who goes through this. Some days I wake up and walk around and feel huge. Then the next day, fvck man I am so small! It goes back and 4th, back and 4th. I'm 6'3" 250 at 15% bf. I guess I will just never be happy with my physique. Hopefully tomorrow I wake up feeling big, ugh. Who else goes back and 4th???????

Yeh I feel the same way, some days my muscles look tone, tight and defined, other days I feel bloated and loose, its really weird but I do think your body does actually fluctuate from day to day so I don't think 100% of it is in your head.

Ya know, I agree with you. I think most of it is in our heads but in some cases, my muscles do manipulate through-out the day.

Yep and believe it or not I really think sleep has a lot to do with it.
I always notice when I get around 8-9 hours of sleep my body just feels and looks rested and like its ready to go bounce some steel. But recently I've been getting around 5 hours and my muscles always feel loose and sort of submerged. (that really could be in my head too though who knows)

I remember thinking "damn I feel so small" because I was at a party drinking with my buddies and stuff and when I would walk into the bathroom and look in the mirror I would be like "damn it I got small", then I saw pictures from that night like a week later and I looked HUGE. I was like "WTF this can't be the same person"
But now i feel small again

Yeah there is another thread on it and there is a scientific name for it but it exscapes me now. We all get it and feel it. Most of the time I think I look small but everyone says Im big (especially girls. lol) but when I see pictures I think Hmmm yeah not bad...
I found it. BigorexiaLast edited by lovbyts; 09-17-2009 at 12:22 AM.

[QUOTE=xo3et;4865631]5ft 11" around 185lbs , I have lost 12lbs due to an operation
so ur prolly still bigger than the average Joe that doesnt train..... Atleast you have the height to stand out above the rest, im 5'9 ish and always feel short. I am also hitting a plateau at 219lbs but u can still pack on the weight way above 240lb's, just look on the brightside

I've been there. The other night before I went out I was looking in the mirror thinking "fvck man I look like such shit, I am so tiny." Got to the party and within 2 hours had four people complimenting me and asking the typical "damn dude how much do you bench." But back to the pictures, it's crazy how it works out, I guess I'll feel big when I get caught spying on my Tampa chick! lmao

Yeah, same. I just figured it was a fluid issue as we always look bigger with greater definition.

I used to have serious issues with thinking I was small. Now I don't, yet im considerably smaller than I used to be. I am at a size that im comfortable with and is possible to maintain without my life having to totally revolve around diet and the gym, so its all good.

One thing I notice even at the gym I dont think I look big most of the time but after I take a shower and see myself from a distance in a full length mirror in the locker room I think Wow, OK I look pretty good...
Yeah the mirror has a LOT to do with it but so does your view of the mirror and the lighting. I know from a distance I look MUCH bigger than if I'm standing close to the mirror.Last edited by lovbyts; 09-17-2009 at 10:15 PM.

I get it too just for the fact that I flux with my weight all the time. Usually around 5 pounds I can lose and again within a day.

yeah it's just muscular dysmorphia. you're bound to get it if you're dedicated to your bb work.
the ups and downs are just confidence issues. like if u feel u havent done enough ud feel smaller, and if you get a compliment u feel bigger.
i have the same thing with my singing. i'm much better at singing than a lot of people just like you are more muscular, but I'm still not the ronnie coleman of singing so I feel like I suck sometimes
