Do you bruthas remember what were doing when 911 was announce on the News.
Where and What were you doing when the Twin Towers got attacked.
It was my college years and I didn't have class that day so I over slept. My ex girlfriend called me and woke me up to tell me about the 911 attacked.

I was a sophomore in high school. The principle came over the loud speaker and said there had been a terrorist attack in new York. We stayed in our 1st hour class watching the news half the day and then got sent home early.

Just dropped my daughter off at school and on my way to work in down town Seattle, heard it on the radio. Turned around to pick my daughter up from school and went to my moms to see the 2nd plane hit the tower. I called my boss and said I wont be in to work, to much sh*t going down.

I was sleeping in that day. Woke up around 5pm and turned the tv on. started watching the filming of the planes crashing into the towers and heard the news casters and thought I was watching some action movie. Then I realized it was for real and not a movie or a prank.

I was in Saudi Arabia that day and my Saudi trainee said something about a plane crashing on the telly upstairs. I said that I had seen it earlier on the TV and the plane didn't crash as it was a light aircraft that had just missed crashing into a football game. He said "No! Go up and have a look!"
We all know what was on those tv pictures! RIP

I was in auto mechanics class my senior years of HS when the plane hit..... The school finally told us when I was in sociology about an hour later. They thought it was safer to keep us all in school..... wouldn't let us leave.
This school also had a bomb threat come in and they didn't let the kids out of the classroom. They thought it was fake so they kept us all in our classes and called the cops to have the dogs sniff the school..... i was really p*ssed off about that. Tey wouldn't even tell anyone why we had to stay in class for 1/2 the day..... Hundreds of parents called in to scream at the principal LOL

Had a day off from work and was shopping, looked into a shop that had a TV and my first thought was someone dropped a Nuke on NY. I rushed home and saw a second plane hit the WTC.

I heard something like that...........Some girl's husband worked at WTC. He left early to go to work. She notice the tv news and the second tower goes down. She started freaking out, crying, etc.......She called the husband to check on him.....she called him like 5-10 times and never picked up. Finally he picks up the phone. She asks "How are do doing, are u Ok?" he answers "yes I'm ok baby, it's been real crazy here at the office I've been real busy and that's why I haven't been able to answer my phone"............long story short....they divorce.

During the obituaries that they did on live TV afterwards, I saw my exact name come up, first and secondary name. That was kinda weird to see.

Oh, and she probably called you because text messaging wasnt out yet was it.
I had no idea what in the **** was going on until I got home from school. Highschool. It was yearbook picture day. I was standing in line to get my school picture taken when we heard the fist anouncement. I wasnt really paying attention. I walked away with a rumor that some highschool had undergone a terrorist attack. That was at about ten oclock or so. It second to last period, we got the announcement that extracurricular activities were canceled for the day and I was thrilled not to have football practie, but still had no idea what was going on. Then finally in last period, history class ironically, our teacher finally filled us in on what was going on. But it was not until I got home from school with both my parents home, that i finally began to undersant just how serious the attack was.

I had the day off of work. Was about to head up to the city to pick my wife up from the airport. She ended up being stuck in Ohio untill they allowed planes to fly again. She was eventually allowed to fly to Chicago, had to drive up to get her.

I was a sophmore in high school. I was walking to one of my most boring classes of the week. The class was dealt with electricity and shit. But anyways, showed up to class and the TV was on and the aftermath of the attack was shown. That whole day the whole school did nothing but watch the news.
