Not working legs as planned due to jet ski
I was going to work legs today but I played a little to hard on the jet ski today.
This is a progression over about 8 hrs. I cant wait until tomorrow. LOL I have been icing it all night.
Please see the progression on the other post below...
On a serious note, is this anything I should see the doctor about? It's not painful. It's a little tender to the touch but nothing bad and only a little stiff.Last edited by lovbyts; 09-26-2009 at 02:32 AM.

you cant do legs because of tiny bruise?? someone on board had his fingers smashed by 100pound db, and dont think he gives a fvck about it..

I'm sure it hurts, no point working out if you can't do it right. what were you doing anyway? Is it a standup or a sit down?

I dont think missing a couple days is going to kill me. Yeah I read about the guy with smashed fingers. It's a LITTLE more than a tiny bruise, trust me, it's knarly looking and I hit HARD. Considering I have had my 400 lb quad drop on my chest from 10 ft after rolling down a HUGE hill and many other crashes I know when to take a day or two off. LOL
They are sit down (fat boy skis) I rode stand ups for YEARS. My first ski was a 1972 Kawasaki 440 so I do know how to ride real skis. I use to submarine, ride standing on my head and standing backwards. I can still do most of the tricks I use to do but not quite as graceful.
I even got a ticket for doing head stands one time but it got laughed out of court literally.

Actually squatting will help it heal faster because it increases the blood flow to the area to speed recovery. DON'T BE A *****!!! SQUAT!!!! LOL!!!!!

WHAT NO SQUATS??? THAT'S SACRILEDGE!!!! LOL!!!! I understand your point though. Have you ever considered using a safety bar to squat? Puts much less stress on the lumbar region and is recommended by doctors for athletes with previous back problems. As a matter of fact, the #1 strongman in the US, Derek Poundstone, has had several back surgeries because of herniated disks, and other lumbar problems (including a couple cracked vertabrates because of an accident I believe), but he's comeback stronger and has vids of him squatting over 800 for reps. No I'm not saying you need to try the shit he does, but with proper work, it is possible to squat again. Just trying to help you out brotha, because IMO there is no better exercise than the squat!!
