I have been around a lot of old people and cancer patients. People that knew they were going to die. Talked to them at great length. From all walks of life. Of various ages.
All of them had one thing in common. It wasn't the money, cars, or girls. They all wanted to be remembered. Just to know that they made a small difference in the short time they were here. It didn't matter what their religious beliefs were. They wanted to be remembered.

why not?, do we really need to have a purpose? or is it just becuase we have the ability to think we have a purpose, that we believe we have a purpose?
that like ever other animal we are just the result after years of evolution?
Evolution? probably but surely not from this planet
why not from this planet BJJ? if we originated from another planet, then that planet had to originate from somewhere else aswell......
and the idea that ' we are living for something, or whats our purpose' is just a creation and an idea in our mind?
ideas develop either from fantasies or facts but both originate from actions or primordial instincts
out primordial instincts are based upon survival, so wouldnt that mean so are our ideas???
since we have by far the most developed brains compared to any other species. then its completely possible that we just created this idea
...by far considering only our planet; but what about other species outside somewhere... who might have brought life onto this planet in a remote past. so, how can you say we are the most developed while we are not even capable to put our feet on Mars
if another species so powerful was able to put life on this planet, then why hasnt it even contacted us clearly?
but then again isnt this just another idea??
i mean a few thousand years ago man was still trying to figure out how make fire, we hadnt even considered other species outside our planet, maybe it wasnt until we were aware of other planets that we grew this idea that theres other outside out world
maybe our idea of having a purpose is just that, 'an idea'
if you consider that many people live for nothing and literally waste their time...
the human mind is a complex thing that we still struggle to understand completely
so far yes, but think about those who believed that our planet was squared... or those who thought our planet was located in the middle of the universe... or those who thought the universe was infinite! it is just a matter of time and we will come across our mind's "secrets"
our minds secrets?? or just more ideas? or just greater ability to think?
i dont believe we are in the middle of the universe, since i believe the universe is just a movement through time, but we cant argue that were not in the middle of the universe since we cant prove that wrong
but a sad thing is in the end of the day, everything you feel (love, sadness, embaressment, happyness, courage, fear), every emotion u have, ever idea u create, everything you think is just cells and reactions in your brain taking place.
correct even though easily said. in any case those emotions come from actions mostly so the secret is the right action at the right moment to have the wanted emotion
all with the purpose of one thing
to try keep you alive and survive,
in the end of the day everything you feel means only something to you
becuase your brain (mind) is you
'homeostasis' it applies to everything within our body, including your brain, so evrytime you think something, its only becuase its what your brain after years of evolution has been designed to do
our minds are what maintains our survival
the ability to think is mankinds real weapon
I see no problem with those sentences
but maybe we dont have a purpose and like everything else we will evolve or become extinct eventually..........
...eventually
and the ability to debate or think we have a purpose, or think that maybe our purpose is (whatever you believe) is just your brain thinking about your survival, like every other creature on this planet
we could argue what our purpose is, but it seems that like every other human we all want to survive
no one wants to die tomrow, and that is what effects our judgement everyday of our lives (even when you think about what our purpose is) we have the right to will to survive

Its all just opinions and speculation, i doubt we will ever find out the reason, at least not in our lifetime
