great points guys, all these reviews say "X-box" but on the comments on the reviews, everyone calls them "broke box" lol.

Everyone I've talked to says PS3, my concern was lack of games, but it appears they have some good games out now, and some around the corner.

As someone who was a Playstation Fanboy last gen I would say go with Xbox 360.

Yes you have to pay for online, but the sheer magnitude of shit you get with Xbox live is mind blowing, sometimes I truly can't believe how far technology has come. XBL online blows PS3 online way out of the water and its like 15 bucks a month, hardly expensive.

I mean PS3 and Xbox 360 get the same games, with Xbox 360 have better exclusives IMO Gears of War, the Halo series, crackdown, crackdown 2, Lost Planet, Fable II, Bioshock, Bioshock II, Too Human, etc.

Without getting all nerdy, Xbox 360 is easier to program for thus alot of the times when games are released on multiple platforms (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii) the Xbox 360 version comes out better in terms of graphics because while PS3 cell technology is superior it requiers longer dedication and more work to get the full benefits.

As for the 360 failure rate problems, it was true in the beginning they had their fair share of problems, but that was a while ago, i had the 360 since launch and had to get 2 console repairs and in the end I got a my 3rd one about a year ago which turned out to be my final one since it works like a beauty *knock on wood*.


Both consoles are great, you won't be disappointed by either, my roommate has the PS3 and I play it time to time.

I opt'd for Marvel Ultimate ******** for a first game.

Immortal, that online stuff is not for me. I use to play MMORPG's on the PC and it sucked up so much of my time I can't even go there. My company would go bankrupt, my girl would leave me, my friends would quit trying to call. I get obsessed with them, mostly from the competition, and always trying to beat everyone else. I was one of the rare white kids, who could hang with the azn's!

Im so stoked too I cant wait COD is my favorite first person shooter for ps3. PS3 all the way no other all you hear about is those stupid xboxs getting the "Red Ring" of death and as stated you have to pay for your online use. In the end the PS3 is the better bang for your buck.

360 hand down for me. Hmm, sony who has never made anything gaming wise or bill gates. Id choose bill gates. Love the 360 controller too, ps controllers are made for little asian hands, haha! Always loved xbox and 360 is great!

Nice, I'll have to look into that, I always have had intentions of mod'in my systems, just never got around to it.

But A big reason I went with PS3 is for God Of War 3, coming out in march. 1 and 2 were some of the best games I played.

PS3 by far, Killzone 2 online is pretty cool.

Also have access to the MAG beta, game is absolutely amazing, 64 vs 64 online is insane.
