I have a Siberian husky and she goes nuts when I get home. They are very vocal dogs and almost sound like there speaking human words sometimes. She's the greatest dog ever. She just showed up to my house one day and never left so I took her in. Scared the crap out of me the first time I saw her tho. I thought a wolf had gotten into my back yard lol

he's not a sheltie! :P
pure bred full size collie...he's only 5 months old...
a neighbor has a sheltie, he's already 2x the size...bugger is huge....
i got a crazy greeting from sam when i got home tonight. took him for a crazy long walk (his favourite thing ever)
i can walk him 3x a day, and he loves it every time..... i wasnt a dog person till i got him.

The vid is cool but it is making me a little curious.
Cause when I was gone for 1 1/2 years and came home my dog actually didn't recognize me at all at first. She got scared at how forward I was and ran into a corner (typically not scared easily). Then after about 15mins she slowly warmed up to me and wouldn't leave my corner.
I guess it just depends on the dog.
However I pick her up 1 a week now to sleep over and she does the same thing like in this video. First thing she does is squat and pee (min pins are known for doing that when they're excited so I always have to greet her outside lol), then she goes crazy licking and crying its so cute. Dogs are the best we really do learn a lot of valuable things from them.

^^^^ LMFAO
My dog goes crazy also when I get home..... every single night. I walk through the door..... she runs up to me, stands on her hind legs, licks my hand and arm, and then falls to the ground and lays on her back while i pet the crap out of her.....
