Looking to buy a new mattress
as the title says, looking for a new one and want it to be good. Currently have a Simmons pillow top but it is over ten years old. Anyone have any good suggestions. I know they are expensive but that's ok. Thanks.

Dude..Tempurpedic is the only way to go! I got one a few years ago ($1600) and decided I will never have anything else in my bed room. They are expensive, but the warranty is for 20 years, so you won't have to buy another mattress for 20 years. Most coil spring mattresses offer 6-7 year warranties. Also, the Tempurpedic returns to it's original state when not being used, it doesnt get soft spots or start sagging.
The only stick is that you have to buy a special cover thats waterproof, because if anything gets in the foam it voids the warranty...and the cover is around $100.

I HATE the tempurpedic beds..... I can't sleep on them.
I went to sleepy's and layed down on every bed in the store..... didn't look at the price tag. After about 3 hours of looking and laying down on beds..... I picked one. It wasn't massively expensive and it's been the best bed i've ever had.

My tempurpedic is in storage right now and I have never had so much back pain. Still had some with it, but the difference is amazing.
I had a hard time adapting to it, but once I did it was my best investment. I have a Cal King, spent a little over 2k.

Best bed I've owned was my old water bed. The memory foam matresses are very nice. Takes a week or so to get used to them, but very comfy after that.
A good featherbed can make a huge difference to a mattress. I have a pillowtop mattress but it's afew years old and the wife said it wasn't poofy enough. We bought a thick featherbed and it's like sleeping in a cloud now. Just make sure your not allergic to goose feathers first.

Get yourself a SIMMONS BEAUTYREST WORLD CLASS series mattress.... the world class series is used by a lot of the top hotel chains. I sleep like a baby every night, haven't had a bad sleep on it. My girl loves it too. Just make sure you get a king if you're sleeping with company most of the time. The extra space is more than worth it. I'll never buy anything but a king now
