    Getting sleep earlier vs later

Ive read many time that sleep is important for muscle gains. Does it matter if you go to bed early or later? say 9:30pm vs 12:00am
And i guess it all depends on when you wake up too. 6:00am vs 9:00am

regarding this what is best for muscle gains?

Sleep is when you bed down...regardless of time. rest vs awake.... but there has been plenty of studies to show that the quality of sleep can correlate to the times. It probably wouldn't mean that always, but maybe something you can look up and research.

I am on patterns... I have done all shifts and all times.... I only know the difference when I have a set pattern or routine for sleeping. That is the best and healthiest.

I imagine going to bed earilier would be better so you can sleep till 5-6:00am. Then start eating to pack on the meat.

I also heard its bad to eat after 9:00-10:00pm because of the bodies circadian rhythm. so the longer you stay awake the body will need more fuel at a time where it wants to rest.

Your body doesn't know what time is. You should eat when your body needs to , case closed.

I hate to say this but if I go to bed at 4am, and wake up at 12noon, and get a proper 8 hours of sleep, for some reason I ALWAYS feel like shit vs me going to bed at 10pm and waking up at 6pm.

Your body is neurologically always reacting to stimuli which I think can be affected by time. But its not exactly time, time is just one variable. Other things also change with time such as day light, temperature, noise, mood.. age lol.
So your body might not KNOW time, but it DOES respond to time. (moreso it changes with the variables that are influenced by time)

    Otherwise we'd all be immortal.
What I am saying though, is I ABSOLUTELY do usually ALWAYS feel like crap when I go to bed later and wake up later. I don't know why, but I def don't think its as simple as some people are saying.

I remember working a 4/4 shift. 2 days/2 nights, 4 days off. my sleep was just a wreck for the first month. then i eventually became inured to it. I always felt groggy though. I was good $$ though, the sacrifice i was willing to make.

    u should sleep at night

our bodys are designed to sleep at night

alot of people who work night shifts or overnight and sleep during the day suffer alot of issues

ive had 3 family members and 2 mates all work night shift, all of them suffer stomach ulcers as a result ( and yes have doctors and specialist check this, and they were able to link it)

u can go to the doc and even check it out and find out

its becuase sleepig patterns determine alot of the bodys stress hormones and other imporant functions

the human body isnt nocturnal, so u do need to sleep at night to help stay healthy

sleeping 8 hours is important yes, but long as it sits approxametaly around night time

As long as you are getting the enough sleep it doesn't make a large difference.
It is very helpful to go to bed and wake up at the same time. It helps to get to sleep faster, wake up easier, and allows for a better sleep cycle.
Also, going to bed earlier and waking up earlier is probably preferable because you would be more likely to be out in the sun more and being in the sun increases B12 and Melonin, which increases mood and energy. (also it may have a small amount on muscle vs. fat storage)
If you cannot spend much time in the sun it may be helpful for you to get a UV lamp.
