That's one hungry snake. Yeah they keep getting bigger and bigger. The alligators in Florida use to eat them but now they are eating the alligators...

Hell yeah. I almost didn't join the army because I saw pictures of those camel spiders over in Iraq. If I have to go over there and I wake up with one of those on my face I will die before I even see combat.

thats nothing new its a anaconda or buerm idk it was to dark to tell but either one can eat a gator or hippo no problem its ****n tight. one of my buddys has got a 19ft long albino buermes now n it could deff eat a human or a gator with out a problem at all idk about a hippo but im sure it would if it had to, i gota baby buerm now but shes only like 5ft long but she can already eat a full sized rat 2x a wk

Snakes are remarkable creatures and precocial, in that they are born at a fairly advanced stage in their life. In the case of snakes they are ultra precocial, in that not only are they quite advanced when they are born but they have no parental upbringing so they have to begin hunting for themselves almost immediately from the moment they hatch.
Someone said the snake was dumb for swallowing a hippo? What an ignorant comment! Snakes, like most animals, never know where their next meal is coming from so will naturally try and eat as much as they can, when they can. The fact that it's mouth and body can stretch and accomodate an animal the size of a small hippo is a testamount to the morphology of the creature.
