Wanted to give everyone an update real quick.
went to the doc, he sent me to the head doctor.
Head doctor was really cool, laid back. He gave me a 60 question test, determined i have the symtoms of A.D.D. and wanted me to try 10mgs of adderall twice a day. He says too many people have sleeping problems with the extended release.
We'll continue to up the dosage until I feel the effects.
With 10mgs, my focus is quite a bit better, I feel more "calm" and i forget less things. For some reason, I can fall asleep sooner at night too? and I sleep better. I wake up at 7am with out problems, and take 10mgs at 9am, and 10mgs at 1pm.
over all, feel a lot better, good move going to the docotor.
He wants to check my test levels, via blood test to be sure I don't need HRT. Been off AS for about 10 months, and have not done enough to faulter my natural test levels, so confident that should come out good. Worse comes to worse, i get human grade test after.
But getting that out of way to hop on the spring cycle.

got massive add
2nd grade teacher wouldn't let me come to school anymore unless I was on pills
I take vivance now, works pretty good
I kinda wish I was never put on any pills, cause I wonder what effect it had on me at such a young age...I almost think I don't have ADD based on my symptoms, rather that I'm dependant on the meds. Without them I'm lazy and get nothing done though. I use it more like a strong cup of coffee.

I went to a sleep specialist and he thinks I've had sleep apnea from an early age. I guess there are some new studies sugesting many add problems in kids are related to sleep disorders and if you treat the sleep disorder the add goes away.
He thinks I've probably had OSA all my life or at least since I was a young child. Now still feel like I need the pills though for a pick me up.

strattera disposes of every weiner it comes in contact with...people not reporting that it breaks their penis are just not saying it. Took months for it to poke it's head back out of the turtle shell.
do not take

I tried strattera about 4 years ago, it did nothing for me.
My doc was going to put me on the XR like you Kratos, but he said a lot of people have sleep issues with it.
I won't use adderall daily, only when the focus is required.
I can function fine on a day to day basis, but when I have to take class time or do a lot of paper work, I can't stay on task very well with out it.
I'm taking 10mgs 2 times daily right now though and I do notice i sleep better for some odd reason.

I got a doctors appointment and going to talk to him about taking me of vyvance and trying NUVIGIL

nuvigil = provigil
almost anyway
I've tried provigil, and I actually like it. I think my biggest problem is motivation and energy from being on these damn pills all my life. So it gives me enough pop to go.
provigil goes off patent in 2012
nuvigil is just a baby so they're trying to convert people
I would go with provigil depending on what insurance you have.

I can tell a tremendous difference between the two. Nuvigil is way better for me. It is kinda like adderall and vyvanse. V is just the new spinoff. However, V gives me severe migrains and adderall does not.
Also Nuvigil has a free copay assistance card and provigil does not (they stopped provigil)

Huge delay in this thread but i ended up getting prescribed, Ritalin 3 x 10 mg a day but only as a PRN. I felt that the first month on it was a massive difference, now I have built up a tolerance and it makes me feel so zombied out after the crash. I only take it now for emergency concentration such as studies, IMO I don't like it but does help.
Main reason I have bumped suched a old thread, I am dieting reallly good atm, and those days that I feel really tired and I have NOT touched the med's. I have a 20 - 30mg hit for my workout.
Now is this going to suppress my gains and weight?
- Even though I am still eating or forcing it down after I workout even though I kind of do not feel like eating.
I read this but if anyone beg's to differ or answer my question would be great.
First, stimulants rev up metabolism by increasing adrenaline. Adrenaline actually uses up protein in the body and destroys lean body mass. Of course, stimulants promote a decrease in appetite. This diminishing appetite will lead to malnutrition eventually. Even if the person maintains near normal body weight, the
nutritional value of cells becomes markedly depleted.
In addition, stimulants raise insulin levels in the body. Long term higher insulin levels actually promote weight gain, not weight loss, that people often reach for stimulants to achieve.Last edited by boz; 09-07-2010 at 01:16 AM.

love adderal.. feel like i could lead the free world to prosperity while im on it. wall's of text are nothing and seem to flow freely from mind to the paper, whereas normally i have trouble forming a few paragraphs.
appetite goes in the shitter, though. and eating enough is the hardest part of bb for me anyways...
a-games don't bother my libido in the least. i can shoot wads that would blind a nun from 100 meters away. the stuff's really too good and i've been fighting the urge to get it in bulk for years now.
its obviously not the same experience for people who take it every day opposed to someone who takes it once a month. can you say sex/xbox marathon
