Car Buying Help
Okay, Im new to all this and everything like what price to look fore, mileage, year, etc, etc...
In particular Im looking for a Jeep Wrangler. I want a decent lift on it, and nice offroad tires. Or if I just get a regular one, I can put the lift/tires on later. But Im not evens sure how much that costs. I've been skimming craigslist and will post a few links. Let me know what ya'll think. Any info, advice, help is appreciated.

Get the one in the middle. The other 2 have too many miles for that price in my opinion.

Check for panel gaps and crash damage. Generally can be noticed by having bad or dull paint. Wranglers had an issue with their diffs so listen out for loud knocking or grinding in tight while driving in tight circles. Other than that I think their electrics are ok.

i'm not a jeep guy. But those are crazy expensive for what they are. one is 10 years old the other 8 and over 10k. I know you want a jeep but man you can get alot nicer stuff for that price if you looking at something that old

Or a Cobra... hhhhmmm, the possibilities.

If you want a Jeep Wrangler and you wanna use it for off road get the Rubicon, its a pure animal!
Don't buy one that is already lifted and done up, you are asking for problems. Trust me... I was in the car business for years before starting my own company... anything that has been lifted and ran off road, you're asking for trouble. You don't want someone else's problem.

Also I noticed you posted ads for a 2000, a 2008 and a 2002.... If you are gonna be off roading go with a 2006 or older.... better engine for off roading. The 4.0L inline 6 offers a lot of torque even though the v6 3.7L in the new models received good reviews, I think the 4.0 is much better

its a little high but if you like the body kit and rims its worth it. It looks and sounds like its stock mechanically.
Otherwise you could get a newer one with less miles for the same price.

The rubicon looks like your best bet. If you are using it for off roading... you're not gonna want that automatic. If you're gonna be doing a lot of hi-way driving I wouldn't recommend a Wrangler period. They suck hard on the hi-way. If you are just rippin around in the city and doing some 4x4ing they are the best!
I sent you a PM with a little info on that exact Jeep.
