    Do steroids kill you?

I am starting to get freaked out. I used to post here years ago very frequently. I stopped posting back in 2008.

I was totally shocked to hear about swolecat dying. I live near him so I knew him well. However, I always felt that his death was more related to fat burning compounds like clen , t3, etc... rather than gear.

However, I made the mistake of reading the thread about T-Mos and learned just now that T-Mos = SMan = David. I knew him well too and he was very, very knowledgable.

So I am thinking that gear does kill you even if you do everything right! WTF! How could that guy be totally fine on Wednesday and posting here and then dead on Friday. That's so ****ing crazy!

Seriously Sman used to totally mentor me and he always took a more conservative approach when recommending cycles. He also frequently asked me how things were going and tried to pre-emptively anticipate problems before they happened and be prepared to counter them.

I just started a new cycle. Now I am considering stopping it and giving up on gear all together. There are way too many young, healthy guys dying for no decent reason. What the **** is happening?

Who else has died from here? I am afraid to ask.

I think your drawing conclusions from coincidences. If it was true then we would all be dying at the age of 30 not just one or two of us.

    Thanks man... I agree.

I had a friend who was all natural with great genetics who died at age 40.

I talked to his doctor and he said that being 260 lbs and 8% bodyfat with lots of lean muscle is just hard on your heart.

Excess can kill you even it is just working out and eating right to an extreme.

    He left it at that.

moderation is the key with anabolics i think. If you do cycle after cycle and weigh over 250lbs you are putting strain on your body. But not everyones the same so you cant really generalize

overuse of anything can kill you.

Did they pass away from gear? I have no idea, but if you do want to use.
I guess you do it the best and the right way you can do it.

    Which means.
    *research
    *educate
    *use safely and dont abuse
    *diet
    and many other factors.

And if you want an answer to your question T-Mos suffered from clinical depression. Noone on this forum can tell me he didn't have prior long term experience with alcohol, pills or who knows what. It comes naturally when you are depressed for many years. And it would make more sense that something else caused his death, such as the stress from always being depressed.. or some other symptom of it that was degrading his health.

As far as swolecat, again you don't really know people as well as you think. You have no idea number 1 what people have ACTUALLY put in their bodies over the course of a short lifetime, and number 2, you have NO IDEA what kind of genetic/family diseases/predispositions they inherited. I think the only thing that is weird is that they were both high ranking members of this site. It would make more sense to see 1 high ranking member die and 15 regular members than 2 high ranking members and 0 regular members. Orrrr.. do we just not notice the regular members as much as the high ranking members?
If so, we have what like 50,000 members on this site, we've prob realistically lost about 100over the last 5 years and have no clue. Its a BIG site, a tad ironic perhaps, but its too easy to explain with alternative logic.

Swolecat's parents are both alive and in good shape. They are not bodybuilders, but they are both extremely fit for being in their late 50s or early 60s. I know that.

I doubt that Sman was much of a drinker. Whats really bothersome is Sman's reaction to swolecat's death only 6 weeks before he himself would die. He had not clue, that he would be next.

I don't even think anyone on this forum knows what the autopsy report said? That would prob be a good place to start, and THAN I think maybe we could speculate at that point.

Does anyone know what it said? And I'm not sure why you doubt T-Mos could have been a drinker, he talked about drinks wayyy more than the avg member. His best friend on this site for godsake always seemed to be drunk or drinking or talking about whiskey or what his favorite drink was. Just saying I remember it rather clearly.

Actually david was not a big drinker at all bo. Before you say how would you know I talked to him on a daily basis via msn messenger and probably talked on the the phone once to twice a week.

However he did suffer from clinical depression. He had a very rocky love life which caused a lot of stress for him, he was very afraid of dying alone. He had his heart broke during a very nasty breakup. He was not over it all even tho he was dating another woman. On top of that he was under heavy stress he was close to having to shut down his restaurant.

What you guys are also forgetting is that he was in his early 40's carrying excess body fat and did no cardio in fact for as long as he was on this site he never touched cardio on any regular basis. He let all healthy aspects of diet go and over ate which caused excessive body fat.

He also ran higher doses then he ever posted. He had not been long off his last cycle when he started running mt and was actually taking 8mgs the last week before he discontinued it not the 5 or 6 mgs he posted.

Between the stress lack of cardio and abuse of mt I am not shocked he had passed on. I am by no means disrespecting my friend but telling it as it is.

its the other substances that kill.
steroids just add to the cocktail alot of us take...

this is why we preach so hard to the young members, these things are not candy and can have a bad ending.
no matter how safe we claim to be, we just dont know...

i believe it is a connection with other substances that is the culprit....

Women Cause stress/depression and moose u know what i am tallking about. That leads to bad habits like using drugs etc add this mixture to AAS and guess what u got a killer cocktail. Either have a good relationship then go on cycle or be on cycle and fvck everything that has vagina so at the end of the night u will know that u most likely will never be seeing her so she wont be able to hurt u. just my 2 cents.........Dont mix bad relationship/ screwed up chicks and aas u will end up killing urself.
