I dont have much experience with vista. I went from xp to 7 and I love it. I haven't had any problems yet. It seems a little like the Macintosh os to me.

Vista is a failed operating system, that is why Microsoft dumped it for windows 7, it fails in every programing and software aspect ever. It is the reason why many computer geeks like myself stayed with windows XP.

Vista is rubbish, remove it for either XP or windows 7.

I can name a million reason why windows 7 is superior, but its 5am and im not bothered, dont believe me ask DSM, he knows a bit about comps.

    Switch to windows 7.

I never understood why people disliked Vista so much...until I installed Windows 7. What a difference. I had to kick up the RAM a couple gigs for the 64-bit version, but my shit runs smoooooth now.

Thumbs up from me for Windows 7.

Vista isnt even that bad if your running a 64 bit

People just bitched because they all put there old incompatible software on it and ****ed it up themselves and blamed vista for it

Windows 7 is way better though much sleaker and more streamlined/faster

The truth is that windows vista had alot of flaws which were not addressed before the final release to the public. They finally fixed most of the errors and were planning on releasing a service pack upgrade , but decided to change a few minor things that had to do with the look and package it as a new OS for financial reasons.

Run to Windows 7 as fast as you can. Vista was a steaming pile of shit. Microsoft basically beta tested Windows 7 on the public for 2 years and just called it Vista.

Win7 blows Vista out of the water. Win7 is what Vista was suppose to be.

    Awesome! Ill change it today.

Another question, should I move my music, pics and files to a thumb drive before installing 7? I would hate to lose anything...

luckily my shool was selling win7 ultimate 64 bit for $8 a peice, I like the overall orientation better than vista, is a bit faster, and isn't as annoying.

I would. Just backup everything you want to save and do a fresh install. Always better that way.
