I need a grill for cooking beef steak -- TELL ME WHICH ONE
A lot of people talk good about the George Foreman grill, but I want to ask some opinions here before I go out and buy a grill.
I'll mostly be using it for cooking beef steak at home in my small kitchen. I live alone in a small apartment, I don't need anything fancy. I've already got my microwave for doing eggs and tuna but I need to start cooking my own steak at home instead of going to restaurants (I'm living in Thailand so I can eat a beef steak very cheaply in a restaurant).
By the way I went to the George Foreman site and the guy has 5 different grills:

I haven't a clue which one to buy!
I'm poor at the moment so I'm definitely not spending more than $50 on this. I'd be hoping for something around the $30 mark.Last edited by KimboHalfSlice; 05-05-2010 at 05:38 AM.

I have the double sized foreman grill. I think they all are great, the bigger one allows me to put some veggies in the mix. Go with the smallest one, it should be the cheapest.

we have one but we never use it but its the original kind and it does what it needs to do. I dont think you can go wrong for 19.99 thats pocket change.

I've got the one with the 5 or 6 adjustable plates and temp control..... i'd awesome for grilling most things but steak is a bit tough to get perfect -- depending on how you like your steak. Rare and medium rare are pretty easy..... well done is tough to dow ithout burning the outside......
I likes my steak still moo-ing..... no reason to cook it

All the foreman grills work basically the same. Other options, like removable grill plates ( which is great for cleaning), Temperature control, Size of the plates, etc... All add to the price.
Get a $19.99 one. You will love it. I live on mine. You can even throw frozen vegetables on it while you wait for your chicken breast.
