    The Washington Post???

    I have a question.... why is it that sometimes more times now than ever. When I come to the website it redirects me to the Washington Post website??

    The only thing I can figure is the forum is down for maintenance, but I still keep receiving emails saying someone has replied to a thread while I can't even get on the site, that must mean some people can still get on if they are posting replies. Sometimes it is down for 2 hours at a time. I dunno whats going on but like I said it has been happening more and more as of late.

    Drives me fukin crazy.

    No... it happens on all 3 of my computers including my Mac Book... The first time it happened on my PC I thought the same thing.... but not the case.

    I been building PC's for years. I could check it out for you free of charge if you would like ? Just bring over all 3 computers and a bottle of KY....

    No toolbars on any of my computers. I am very cautious of what I do with my computers. Not so much with my Mac because I hate it, nut the PCs are on lock down. I know computers very well as I too built both of these PCs.

    So..... no one else has ever seen this before? It has to be coming from the websites server because it changes the web address to http://forums.steroid.com/?reload=true So it is setup to reload the page every 30 seconds until the forum is back up.

    See if it's your browser by downloading a different one and see if it does the same thing. Try google chrome which is a great web browser.

    Ya, I tried 3 different borwsers.... IE, Firefox and Safari on my Mac.... Same thing.

    Thanks for all the advice.... I guess I'll just live with it....

    at least it is the washington post, thats like the 2nd best newspaper in the US.
