The latest pro athlete positive test excuse
OUSTON (AP) -- Suspended Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing says his positive test for a fertility drug was the result of overtraining.
Cushing is suspended for the first four games this season after testing positive last September for HCG , a drug on the league's banned substance list. Cushing says he never took the drug, which can be used to restart testosterone production after a steroid cycle, and has no idea how it got into his body.
Cushing worked out with his team on Monday morning. He says doctors have told him that the failed drug test resulted from "overtrained athlete syndrome," a condition that he says can trigger hormonal spikes.
Texans owner Bob McNair flew to New York on Monday to meet with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in hopes of getting Cushing's punishment reduced. The league denied Cushing's appeal of the suspension in February.

You would think that these athletes would have the process that cleans you out for a drug test down to a science. No excuse for this..

Brian cushing is a stand up guy!! I know some of his strength coaches from where he trains off season and trained from high school through the NFL.
They tell me he is one of the hardest working athletes they have ever seen, and their client list is a filled with pro athletes. As for if he took hcg or not i personally can't say but, these guys tell me no way. So I'll take their word for it.
To be honest i don't care, I think he's a gifted and talented athlete who will be a star. NFL defensive rookie of the year, 1 of 3 rookies selected to the pro bowl, the kid shows plenty of promise.
I just don't think the kid deserves to be bashed.

oh and as far as his gains you'd be surprised what you could accomplish naturally, with dedication and some of the top strength coaches in the world guiding the way.

So your saying you believe in this overtrained athlete syndrome? He was either juicing, trying to have a kid, or he was about to be in a porn and need a large money shot.
Ofcourse his coaches are gonna say no. There probably the ones who gave it to him. Steroid distribution is illegal and them saying he was using could get them investigated. You should really stop being do naive. This is America people lie.

xxxl83 = naieve......
like they would admit to him being on anything - that would tie them in.
if the before/after is real - then he's on crank....but at least it looks like he put time in!
at least he was doing pct!

No just trusting a friends word, like i said i could care less, I've also seen alot of false positives in my time, it has been known to happen.
The overtrained syndrome thing no thats clearly bullshit.
One other thing you must realize is these guys train for peak performance and with the proper coaching and work ethic you can go far this guy has been training crazy hard since he was 14, that means he trained through his peak hormonal period and pretty good gains can be made.
When you learn to look past muscle mag and flex and get the right training program ahead of you that's what happens good solid natural gains.
Believe what you want we can agree to disagree.
I myself use AAS and compete in untested feds SSA, APA, SPF.
So I'm in no way a juice hater or anything of the sort. But i do know plenty of guys who are natural and are stronger, faster, than most guys on shit.
Bottom line is proper training with no drugs will out perform, sloppy uneducated training with any amount of drugs.
I am talking athletic performance NOT muscle size or bodybuilding.

I agree you can gain a load of muscle naturally but in this situation your just blowing smoke up your ass. I don't tell my good friends that I've used nor would I tell anyone about one of my friends using.
If they tell anyone they take the chance of that person telling another and then sooner or later everyone knows. It would put there career at risk.
Hard work, strong dieting, and expensive strength coaches can yield some amazing results but this guy had a little extra help.

Agreed, the left picture is clearly a cycle gone wrong. This time it was clearly just poor timing on the HCG .
