Substances
I was just wondering if im the only person who routinely gets trashed and debates killing themselves. Sometimes I wish I could stop. I dont expect any real answers to this question, just some people making fun of me and some people too afraid to speak up with their own experiences.

I have read some of your other past post about you saying you didn't want to live any more. Do you have a problem with alcohol? Alcohol will only numb your issues in life temporary. Are you depressed?

c'mon bro. no one here is gonna seriously talk down to you or make fun of you for this. if you need to talk to someone there are plenty of intelligent people with helpful opinions on here. you're not a ***** or a little bitch. everyone has issues. if anyone on here feels that they should talk down to you when you have a real problem like this then realize that they are scumbags with nothing else to do but make others feel worse so they don't feel as much of failure.
but if you need help, get it. if you're contemplating your life and whether you should end it yourself it's not a healthy mental state. i've been there but immediately got professional help.
you need professional help with your alcoholism. if i have anything to say about it, eliminate your consumption gradually with an aa program. think of how much better your lifting will be. plus if you get out of the hole you're in with alcohol your other life endeavors will be much more positive. alcohol is doing nothing but making your issues worse at this point.
if you're young and made it this far, why stop?

In all seriousnes if you are feeling like there is no where left to turn you might want to consider going to an AA meeting if for nothing else just to vent and say exactly whats eating at your soul...I have gone to many AA/NA meetings in my youth and as much as I didnt really want to be there at that time. One thing that I can tell you for certian is, NO one will judge you there!!! You van feel free to let it all out on the table cuz I promise you there is someone there who is or has gone thru the same or worse than you..Anyways dont want to sound like a preacher or nothin just food for thought ........

1/2 of all alcoholics have at least one mental illness. Depression is VERY common. People feel shitty so they self medicate. The problem: they are not doctors so don't know the best medicines to take for their problems.

Anyone who is contemplating whether or not their life is worth living needs to seek professional help anyway.
Go talk to someone CDP.

That is f n cool dude.. my roommate has a telescope im gonna ask him how to use that thing. That sounds.. up my alley. I've been a meathead lately but I am really into spiritual and philosophical concepts and thats what the stars and celestial bodies are to me in a way. They're also just beautiful like animals and nature etc.

I find when I'm stuck I'm really stuck (6-10 drinks a day). IMO the best way for me to get over it was always go out and get a good amount of health foods, have one last day of my favorite drinks, then cold turkey and focus on health. I lost my job and all I had was alcohol for a whole month so you're definitely not alone. PM me if you need anything.

sounds to me like your trying to find happiness banging these random broads, when you should be trying finding happiness in yourself, the booze is a depressant and just deadening whatever problems youre trying to run from.
talk to someone bro, it will do wonders, I speak from experience

sorry to fkn hear this CDP. My dad is a full blown alchi for many years. His case is a bit different than yours b/c he feels like ending it all when he's NOT drinking.
I like the smokey-smokey b/c of its instant gratification, increased imagination and low sides. though i always beat myself up over it because i can picture all the oxygen my muscles and heart are being deprived of.
we all have vices but if its to the point of taking your own life i would suggest getting help. it may or may not work for you but its always an option.
I know a LOT of ppl will disagree with me -- but if i was king of the world i'd have alcohol banned from the face of this planet.
Only thing its really good for is banging chicks that are out of your league

No matter what the hobby is you have to have hobbies (distractions) in life. Mine have been working on cars, upgrading, total overhauls, building computers for myself and friends, Riding ATV's, Jet ski's, snow skiing, travel (that includes women usually) and there are 1000s of other things. Just get out and start living.
Stop the drinking. Since you know you have a problem with alcohol you need to stay away from it as well as going to bars. Find other things to do. If you say you cant find any it's because you are not looking.
Alcohol is a depressant, plane and simple. If you or anyone has a problem with alcohol or being depressed it will only make it worse. Alcohol has never been a cure for any problems.

Focus on health I like that dude. I know that everytime i pick up a beer im thinking "would you rather have the abs youve got or this frikkin beer" so I definitely have part of my mind going that health way. Thanks for the support appreciate you
What you said here really helped me because.. I have this deep depression.. over something bad that happened in my life.. some of you know what im talking about i dont feel like rehashing it right here. But I realized dealing with it day in and day out and not telling anybody close to me about it.. maybe it would help to talk to someone. I dunno. I grew up on Stallone and Schwarzenegger movies and I can easily get sucked into that one man silent tough cold hero type mindset. Like in Rambo II when he buries the hot asian chick in the mud and he grips the mud in the rain with his hands then picks up his bow and f's them all up.. hell yeah lol
great post dude, laughed at that last part so true. I would ban alcohol worldwide if i could.. Actually.. i would ban it.. then i would regularly show documentaries about people whos lives were just utterly destroyed by it.. cause theres a ton of them out there. I mean people that had everything and lost everything. At the same time though part of me believes in freedom, and im like f it if the other people in the club can be responsible with it and not get in their car and smash into someone or do something else stupid etc, then they should drink im ok with it.
Atvs .. cars.. jet skis..
Those are great lovbyts.. but what I really like.. is a good motorboat..
to the face
Thanks for the tough love too. Thanks guys.

It's also as simple as you know something is BAD for you, makes you feel a certain way just stop.... or it will really become a problem later and take over your life.
You dont have to smoke xxx at all or for an extended period of time to know it's BAD for you and had no redeeming qualities so either you stop or it ends up controlling your life. There are just some things in life we all know are our demands and need to stay away.

and i don't want to know how much $$$ i've wasted on booze in my 20's and almost all of my 30's.....much better to spend it on things that last (and have a resale value).....
