How does it make you feel when you think off all the things you could have bought with the money you have spent on gear?

I imagine it gets a lot more expensive when you have to keep you body above your genetic limit far away from where your body wants to stay at

I know for us guy we couldn't ever think of anything else we could buy with our spare cash

e.g you go to pick up a video game or something stupid you don't need and then you almost slap yourself

at all the food gear etc I could buy with that money

Gear is the biggest waste of money you can invest in compared to the things you could be spending on instead.

I realized this a year ago.

I keep my cycles basic and cheap when I can. 1-2 cycles a year, test only most of the time.

As much as it is just a material object, I still regret it to this day.... whatever reason I thought was a good enough one to sell it was wrong. I must find another, but it has to be as perfect as the first one

I dont know, for me, I feel great when Im cycling and it affects me in my day to day life. If a cycle costs "x" $$$$ but I make better business decisions and just plain feel better in day to day life, then that few hundred $$$$ is the cheapest form of self pleasure than anything else... unless you live in Thailand or Phillipines with insanely cheap hookers

I will never judge on what people spend their money on, because whatever may seem normal to me is abnormal to others and vise versa.

Plus why should we judge whats right or wrong for people to spend their money on.

If it makes you happy and it gives you joy in your life, go ahead.

Example of it is, I spend so much money on tattooing, some people think its crazy spending so much money.

I dont drink or smoke, some people have hobbies cars and so on, I just choose to spend it on myself and my body through art.
