Exactly. They like you to use your ship card but you can use cash for chips. I have actually won more on ships than I have in Casinos... I know more people who win on the ships also than most casinos. Strange...

I LOVE cruises. I still have several pre paid cruises I have to use pretty soon.

    Have fun.

Dont forget. Take your own booze. Fill some powerade bottles or vitawater bottles your favorite Rum, Vodka etc. 90% of your money on board is spent on drinks. Buy one of the drink special when you get on board then just fill your own drinks in the cabin or just carry our vitawater bottle for mix. No one will notice or care. Mixer is at ever food area. They have fountain drinks, punch, lemon-aid and ice everywhere.

I do this aswell. I washed out a listerine bottle and filled it with cherry vodka and another person with me did the same. It was one of the bottles you couldn't see through. I also brought a case of redbull.

I did the same my first trip, used the listerine bottle BUT it gets to be a PITA to always go back to the room for a refill. If you use the Vitawater or Powerade no one thinks twice about you walking around with it OR if it's Vodka just put it in a water bottle.

It can literally save you hundreds $$$ on the cruise.

Yeah I'll be doing it your way next time. It was definately a pain in the ass going back to the room. I was on the 10th floor so it was close to the lido deck but our room was the very first room in the front of the ship.

j, have a great time!!! We've sailed with Princess several times and everything purchased was done so on the card they give you, including the casino credits. At the end of the week you get a statement showing how much they're now going to dock your credit card for.

You can buy bottles of booze on the ship... i had bottles of jack delivered to my room.. plus you can buy at shops on the islands you stop at.. I had great luck at the casinos there.. they are only open when you are atleast a hundred miles off coast though.. or something like that.. so they are not open 24 hours a day.. sometihng to do with federal gambling laws

I just came back from a week of Vegas. It was awesome. :-D

I really think we need new gambling laws here in Florida. I also love the way you can just drink on the streets in Vegas. Ok, it's probably not the best for the kids and families. But I think the atmosphere there was so relaxed and fun. I know some people dont like Vegas, but it's totally my thing.
