Reality check?
Hey guys, did any of you have a certain bodybuilder in mind as a goal to what you want to look like one day? Or maybe a fraction of that physique?
At what point did you change your mind? What made you change it? Maybe you are still going for it? If you are...what keeps you going? Why do you think that you can get there?
The reason I ask because, my wish was to look like something of Frank McGrath and Kevin Levrone caliber. Even though over the years I realized that I will never be like them... I lowered my goal to... about 70% of the size of these guys. I am still cranking it out naturally (currently 6'3@242 17% bulk) but I do realize that AAS will be a necessity at one point. I still belive that I have a chance to achieve the physique of about 70% size of their size...
Tell me your story and comment on mine. I would like to hear how it is with some of you guys.

i always wanted to be like arnold and ronnie etc but its way to unrealistic, so i stick with achievable ones like john cena and randy orton lol.

Same here. I try to set my goals to look like sports figures rather than body builders

I'm as big as want to get, I have been heavier, but I felt like crap.
I would never want to look like any of the current pros, that is not good for the body.

What about Markus Ruhl? He's got some size on him.

Set smaller goals in order to reach your bigger goals. So instead of saying, i want to look like this instead say i want this guys arms. Once you get his arms then move onto i want this guys shoulders. After a few passes of this you'll turn around have and the total package.
