I can't seem to stop lifting to this song!
Ok, I am not big into this type of music usually, but I saw this song in a Zhasni video, then I heard it again in that new movie Kick Ass. So I downloaded it, and I realize that for some reason, when my speakers are up all the way, and the earphones are shoved so deep in my ears that it feels like it gonna damage them, and this song is just BLARING away in my head, I get unbelievably pumped, and I lift harder and more aggressively than any other time!

Yah... a little strange. I'm with most on this thread as I like Hip-Hop/Rap. Eminem gets me pretty fired up!

You're supposed to lift angry. That's how it works best. Match the music accordingly.

I prefer listening to The Sound Of Music Soundtrack when working out.......just kidding here guys, I like the old stuff like Ted Nugent's Stranglehold and Cat Scratch Fever, and Van Halen, etc.

Sound of Music, excellent songs. Classic Rock, excellent. Classical Music, excellent. Dance/Techno (Prodigy), excellent.
Still. For lifting to the xtremeee, you gotta listen to angry metal. Death metal, thrash, grindcore, speedcore, whatever- all genres of it overlap one another anyway. We'll just call it metal. It's what you should be lifting to. You need that adrenaline, not stuff that's gonna make you relax. Now Pantera would be good, and that's really/almost classic rock now. Listening to those solos and riffs, who could do it like Dimebag, really?Last edited by SomeRandomGuy; 10-31-2010 at 01:57 AM.

This song would be tight if it was just the beat. Sound like electro house and thats all i rock at the gym.

Its funny you say that, the version i work out to is just the beat, no lyrics, its 10x better that way.
