    back to training

after being laid up for almost 2mths im going to give it a shot today. have rotator cuff probs and awaiting a hosp appointment for scans. the doc has me on NSAIDS and shoulders seem to be settled now althought there is a small amount of pain in the mornings and stiffness. all in all my trt and hgh have done a good job at enabling me to hold most of my muscle (have lost around 10lbs) but im sick of watching my definition disappearing so going to try a bit of light bench work 2day, wish me luck!!

Good luck bro. I think I was worse off when I had shoulder surgery than before. After a year or so my pain finally disappeared for the most part.

I would wait a bit longer or do something that doesn't really involve the arm. You will hate yourself if you wreak it again and out for longer.

i kinda know my range of movement with it and where the 'biting' point is, getting really difficult to not train now

I feel your pain when it comes to the rotator cuff. I work with emotionally disturbed kids and 2 weeks ago I got caught off guard and was in a choke hold. Threw him across the kitchen and walked away while other staff dealt with him. But holy crap! After the adrenaline went away I could not lift my right arm above my shoulder and it hurt like hell. Finished the shift then saw my doc who said I strained the rotator cuff and thorasic muscles. Got 75% of my mobility back but still sore.
I hope you have no issues when returning to the gym.

i intend on just doing light pressing movements and of course, cuff specific exercises, NO delt raises of any sort

just be careful dec. Pain is the biggest indicator in your body that you have to put on the brakes or lighten the load, stinging pains etc (you probably know all this) are not good and you know the difference between soreness and actual piercing pain. Just be careful and start light, modify and adapt with your cuff until it's back in order. Good luck tho!
