I had a KZ1000 in Germany and I had to ride in the snow. Surprisingly, I never went down. But I don't like riding in the snow for obvious reasons.

I think global warming is a loosely defined phrase that generally says that the overall temperature of the globe is going up. Look at the ice sheets off greenland, falling off into the ocean like never before.
But it also means we will have a more dynamic regional temperature differences.... warm areas to get warmer, cold areas may get colder. It just means overall weather is going to get fukked up! that's why i wrote in an earlier post that canadians may be the direct beneficiariries in 50 years

I just find it weird how we only had 2 winter storms in NJ last year and BOTH were blizzards. None of that 2-4" inch shit, no flurries or anything like that.
I remember when I younger it seemed like it snowed more often but we rarely if ever had blizzards. Now this year, the first storm of the year is a blizzard again.
I don't know shit about global warming but I find it pretty odd that the last 3 snow storms in NJ have all been blizzards.

I dont have work so i am watching everyone get stuck as they try to pull their cars out. It makes for great entertainment. These people are trying to pull their cars out without shoveling any of the snow in front of their cars. From the snow plows there is like a small wall in front of their car. You would think they would some common sense to shovel out a little before they attempt to pull out but nopers. They get right to the snow mount and their front tires sink. They then attempt the back/forth rock for 15-20 min where their car isn't moving an inch.
Drinking coffee watching dumbasses makes for a awesome morning.

Yeh definitely Gbrice I mean prior to last year blizzards were about as common as tornados in NJ. We mayy have had one like back in 02 but only this last couple of years did they really seem to become common I think. And I also noticed the news coverage has seemed to become more desensitized too. First blizzard we had they were calling it "The blizzard of 2009", and personified the shit out of it. Now the news covers it and they just call it a blizzard its like people don't get excited anymore about it "oh just another 34" of snow no big deal".
At any rate I went outside this morning, had parked my car on the street like I usually do, had a coffee in one hand in a shovel in the other. Walked up to my car, shoveled for about 5 minutes and realized just due to the sheer amount of snow I could be shoveling for like 4 hours straight. Even if I dig a square around my entire car I still won't be able to get it out. I have to dig like 5 feet behind it to turn it out and thats gonna take for ever because all that snow is about 4 feet high dense/plow snow. My car is burried beyond burried.
So I had an idea. I have a "python" that allows you to turn your inside faucets into a hose. I haven't done it yet but I was thinking I'll just turn on hot water, bring the hose outside and spray the snow till its all water. I mean if you've ever pissed on snow it melts really fast. My brother said if I do that all the snow is going to turn to ice, which I agree with, but who cares? The entire road is already iced over whats another 1/2" of ice in that area gonna matter?
He seemed to think it was a dumb idea, I think its a brilliant idea, but if anyone can think of how this can go bad please let me know? I'm gonna go out in like another hour or 2 and try melting my car out lol.

Considering I just got in from the 4 hours (literally) of shoveling you mentioned, and my back is broken and i'm pretty sure I have a nasty cough now, I think it's a brilliant idea.
Yea, it will definitely turn to ice overnight, but tomorrow's supposed to be 40 and sunny so it won't last very long. Just throw a bunch of salt over the 'water' if you have any.
If you don't me askin, where in Jersey are you?
