Animal lovers: You have to watch
Saw a movie last nite that changed my life. If you are an animal lover, you have to watch this flick. It is pretty intense.
Earthlings is the name of it, Juaquim Phoenix is thge narrator. Sorry my spelling sucks.
I do believe that I am never going to buy any animal products ever again from grocery stores.
Really made me mad. And after I watched it I had one of the best workouts of my life.

That is what it is about. As well as pet population(puppy mills, gassing) Sport-entertainment, and medical testing.
How can you sleep at nite after you just tortured animals for 8 hours.
Those Japanese mother f*ckers who slaughter all of the porposise(dolphins). I would like to slit their throats and watch them flop around on the concrete screaming.
I think that mother nature is pissed off at the human race and she is about to really start raging.

Oh believe me brother there are plenty of Americans in the movie that deserve their throats slit also.
But, Dolphins are some of the most peaceful and inteigent(sp) species on this earth.
They round them up in a bay, throw them on trucks, alive, transport them across town. Slit thier throats and wath them bleed out and scream. Not right.
Haz, if you are an animal lover you should watch this.
These animals are dying horific deaths. You would not eat it if you saw the way they are being treated. Their souls are tormented, that can not be healty to consume.

Just do me a favor get the movie and watch it.
If it doesnt change the way you think, then I will stand corrected.
American want to be ignorant, the less they know the better they feel about themselves. It is sad really.
Not speaking to you Haz.

I feel your rage. I've felt it before. There are some videos on youtube of animals like racoons, minks, beavers, being skinned alive for their fur. Their tormentors bat them on the head, hang them upside down and peal their skin from their flesh while the defenseless animal paws weakly at the hands of their killer. They keep them alive during this process because the warm body of the animal makes their skin peel of better. I have seen the most vile, horrific acts of torment toward animals. I have a website at myspace called "The Gaurdian" look me up.
See what you can do, spread the word. I work at an upscale bar/eatery. When I see a woman wearing fur come through the doors I give them a burned cd of fur farms showing some of the things I've described above. I also attend local animal rights meetings and participate in all I can.
Google "ALF" "Animl Liberation Front" All your answers are there, Youtube them as well. The animals have no voices, so we speak for them. Welcome to the team!

Thank you brother.
Yeah I saw shit like this when I was younger, back in my punk days had friends that were straight edge.
The movie had a segment on clothing also, and showed the footage yoiu speak of. How can someone do that?
So sad the caged wild wolfs, and other animals go f*cking mad in the cages.
I have never been so pissed off in my 32 years about anything, it changed my entire thought process.
Throwing out all my leather clothing, furniture.
My gil has been vegan for 6-8months and has been tryin to convert me for awhile. She did it for health benefits, but she was balling watching this movie. It just pissed me OFF!
As of today I am vegan. I bought her 1000 vegan recipies for christmas. I just hope I can consume enough protein, but it seems that there are plenty of things. I have been eating organic for quite some time.
If I could find a local farmer that raises these animals in a proper way I would consider eating meat, but F*uck if you saw the way they are treated no one would eat that shit. It aint right.

I know the film. I honestly dont think the shelf life of humans is very long now. Too many factors working against us, we're our own worst enemies. We dont have respect for our own kind, what hope do other animals have. Things like this just make my blood boil.
When we're gone, the rest of nature and wildlife can go back to the way it was.

i have a dalmatian bitch whom i got of the irish dalmatian society. she had been rescued as some evil bastard used her for puppy farming, poor thing was starved and beaten. when i got her she was terrified at voices being slightly raised and would cower down if i walked quickly towards her. shes 90% out of that fear now, still doesnt like a raised voice though, shes a beautiful fun loving specimen of a dog and i cant believe how someone could have beat her. there are some truely evil b@stards in this world.

i always wanted a dalmatian so i figured why not give a home to one that really needed a home instead of lining a breeders pocket ( although, there are reputable breeders). ive now got 2 rescue dals
the one on the left was the abused dog
note the totally destroyed lawn lol

AGAPE LOVE
My doggie is nudged by my thigh as I type. He is the embodiment of unconditional love. He does not care what I wear nor if I am skinny, blonde or brunette. He just wants for me to love him.....with a few bones tossed his way here and there.

I think its terrible but its also a reality. I also don't like how the movie ignores percents and actual prevalances nor does it really focus on
variations from country to country. The tone is not emotive, but the visual content is, and a lot of it seems to be persuade with shock value.
Rather than say "protest goverment regulations in slaughter houses" it says "become vegan and save the world!"
I think its horrific what a lot of humans are doing to animals, but we could use a bit of a more realistic approach in terms of solutions. Merely
becoming vegan isn't going to solve a lot, as the majority of the world is still eating meat. All I think you can really do is burn copies of the dvd
and hand it out to people, educate people, and just cross your fingers. But in the end, I really don't think much is going to change.. unfortunately.

I'm going Vegan because I cannot in the right mind consume something that has been tortured and abused. And givin no chance. Eating food that comes from these pretenses cannot be good for you. Not to mention that most of theses food animals have been fed GMO feed, that now we are taking into our bodies.
I do belive that these practicies will not change, the corporations that controll our food control a large part of the US government.
Watch Food Inc.
I am not going Vegan to change anything or in protest. I just cannot eat that shit anymore.
Unless I find a local farmer that treats the animals civilly and in a humane way. I would eat some meat and eggs.
Luckily i am not as radical as I once was, or I would be on the news.

Oh and my dog Memphis was a stray when i rescued him 7yrs ago. When I found him he was probably 3months old. And the skinniest dog I had ever seen. I called him over 2 me and he jumped on me and threw his long legs around my neck.
Best dog I have ever known. Happy everyday, best temperment around anything, almost no agression whatssoever.
I advise anyone who wants a dog, please go to the local shelter and rescue one. They are the best.
