That guy is a dick, and that was uncalled for. Having said that...bwahaahaahaaa, that was hilarious. I would say it was staged, but it looked like the guy with the camera/phone seemed really scared.

That being said, it's obviously roid rage

I wouldn't jump to say roid rage . . in a lot of places this gym is coming in and buying gyms and members are just beyond pissed on how their gym went from a nice workout place to a place that alarms go off when they drop a weight.
I mean how would you react if the gym you went to went under, this gym took over and took out all almost everything except machines and free weights under 50 pounds.
not to defend the guy. . but i know if i was working out at a place that was the only gym around and it sold out to planet fitness and turned into nothing more than a purple adult day care.
a friend of mine had this happen to him, his small town only had one gym, he was told he wasn't allowed to bench there because they do not allow 315+ on the bar without three spotters

I read on there this was the third time they set the alarm off on the guy and then the lady probably came over and told him he had to leave. I would be pissed as sh*t to.

I wonder how many times this can be posted in a month.

I hope you realize my comment about it being roid rage was an obvious joke. Just playing the pun of saying it on a steroid forum. I think this was staged tho. Why would a guy be just randomly recording another guy before something actually happened. I'll bet he got fed up with the prejudice and him and the camera guy planned this.

I think this is a big part of the problem. The Gold's near my house closed and became a Fitness for $10. They left it the same as Gold's, but added more cardio. The only thing I don't like is they don't have the rack of barbells in 5lb increments any more. I go because it is close and has all the stuff I need.
I will say that making it a "fitness" place instead of a Gold's has increased the number of women. Always nice to see them on the cardio machines while between sets.

I applaude him! These mother****ers discriminate against us for being in shape, dedicated and hardcore. I hope they go bankrupt. They should put that as their commercial!!!!!

lol i had a membership there and quit after the 10th day all they did was freaking complain non stop each day i dropped a set of 80s half a foot from the ground and they had the nerve to come up and say do it again and your out for the day
the next day i came in to do my chest dumbbell flys i dropped the weight on the way down they were there to complain
started my bench press started at 200 they said i should have a spotter long story short i ended around 300ish for my set of two went to walk out and the guy behind the counter told me if i was going to bench with that kinda weight i had to have two spotters i turned around and said bullshit he said if you do it again we will cancel your membership so i told him no need i quit then walked out
and went back to golds and never looked back

Unbelievable. What kind of people with this mindset would even have enough desire to start a gym in the first place? I can't even comprehend it. Nothing better then a sweaty ratty old generic gym. If any of you ever have the pleasure of come up to North Jersey, check out Diamond Gym - it's legendary! Of course, I couldn't step foot in there with my skinny 195lb ass!

It's seems people are unable to put themselves in other people shoes .
There are gyms that are men one day and women the next .
There are gyms that are women only .
This being said . You have to accept the fact that when working out some people are self conscience .
Naturally you can't expect everyone to have confidence .
Consider your nonacceptance as a complement I guess .

"AGHHHHH GRAWRRRRRR RAWRRR!!!!!!!!
"All personnel & clientele please evacuate the building! CODE LUNK!!"

i think the 10 dollars is the one and only draw and the commercials are just eating their profits instead of making the gym(s) better

They are a franchise and a big one at that, yearly -$129.5 million...which is up from $30.4 million in 2006
Many more out of shape people that don't really do anything when in a gym then BBs....from what I know of US gyms. Better they are there, then in my gym...
