Yea bro, those were fvcking awesome! I wish I still had mine - old Metallica tee's, Floyd, Zep, etc. I used to get them in Spencer Gifts in the mall... not sure if you had those where you are but they had ton's of rock tee's and posters!

BADASS!!! I had the South of Heaven tee... oh I also had an Overkill shirt... I think the album was 'out of the gutter'? It had a picture of 'Charlie' (Overkill's gimp Eddie lmao!) on it. Of course, my Sabbath tee's. I had Rush's 2112 too.

    How old are you bro?

LoL, same age as me!!! I'm a big Sabbath fan too... not even sure why you specified Ozzy era - is there really any other Sabbath without Ozzy? Dio? Please.

Dude, Reign in Blood was and still is IMO the greatest thrash album of all time. I listen to Angel of Death and today, 25 years later it still sounds fresh and current, and more badass then any of that shit out there today.

For me it started with Maiden and Metallica... got into Slayer and Anthrax a year or so later. btw, speaking of music that stands the test of time - Anthrax most definitely DOES NOT imo. I listened the other day and couldn't figure out what it was that I liked about them back in the day.

What else were you into? Testament? Nuclear Assault? Suicidal Tendencies? Man, I was into a ton of hardcore (i'm from the NYC area so it was easy), even some punk. Early crossover shit - Agnostic Front, Cro Mags...

yeah antrax are shit, always were.

was into all the eighties thrash/speed scene and have seen 99% of em live (recently saw exodus again, still pumpin!)

hopefully going to sonisphere, knebworth again this year, the opening night features slayer, anthrax, megadeth and metallica all on the one bill!!!!!

This brings me back to my days in high school. Had a different band tee for every day. Metallica, Kiss, GnR, Alice Cooper and the list goes on.
