WTF! I have had it at work and somebody needs to go now.
Gonna get this shit off my chest then I am going to be usual cheerful self. Sorry for the long post.
As most of you know I am a rape counselor for teens at a live in facility.
One of my hardest cases is a 16 year old girl who was placed with us through the state because she has blown through every foster home she has been in. I have been working with her for months to try and get her to open up and tonight she finally did and now I just want to kill some mother fvckers.
Her parents were drug addicts now in prison. She told me when she was 12 her parents started to pimp her out for drugs and money. Fvcking 12! This went on until she was 15 and finally the state took her out of the home and both parents are in jail.
She left and returned to her room and bros/sisters I went into the staff bathroom and cried for almost 20 minutes.
How can a parent do this shit to thier own kid? And then when we have good people like DSM who only want to adopt and love a child and these fvckers are abusing the shit out of thiers.
What really pissed me off was I filed my report with our so called "therapist" and she emailed me back and said she wants to arrange a visit at the prison for her to see her father and start the healing process and possibly salvage a parent/child relationship.
I am completly against this. She hasn't seen him in over a year and frankly he has no right to in my book. I can see giving her back power but let her do that at a parole hearing in about 10 years.
It took me months to get her to trust me and now I think this "therapist" is going to destroy everything and get her to shut down again and then I'm afraid she will be lost forever.
Well if you see me posting tonight and I seem ok...just me putting on my armor.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I agree she doesn't need to see her father. Fvck them her parents need to be stoned to death.
Just out of curiosity does this break any patient/dr confidentiality laws? I know you haven't stated her name or yours but just wondering.

So sad, humans are the worst animals on the planet. That poor girl, my heart goes out to her. Her parents need to be used as guinea pigs for drug companies, thats the only thing their useless bodies would be good for, filthy scum.

Why is her father in jail? Is it because of what he did to her?? If so then a quick message to his fellow inmates would or should end his life or at least put him in a serious way..
On my last vacation two of these sick bastards came in the main population hoping not to be noticed and both ended up in a mess. I remember hearing the bones break when one of them was half beaten to death.....

Yes he was given 30 years for exploiting a minor and forced rape. The mom got less time for rolling over on him in court. And yes I have been seriously thinking about calling a buddy who works at the prison and asking him to convieniently place his indictment sheet in the common area.

I can be a little cold, but when the christians charitable foundation puts santa clause on TV showing sad little boys and girls hungary in nicarauga (sp?) I must laugh. Little maria here can learn to read and write if only you pay $20/mo.
My point is, do what you gotta do, help out and donate, but I do mine locally
I was reading about the Michael Bolton charitable foundation and how 80% of donations were ate up in "administrative" costs......

It really makes u think how fortunate some of us are, I wont lie I was a bastard of a kid, and my father till this days says the things I have done are a huge let down to him and a disappointment. It really hurts, but i bottle it all up.
Some days I reflect back on my past and believe my shoes should be replaced with a girl like this.

Just an update on this.
Her father met an untimely demise. Stabbed over 30 times in the shower on Thursday. Passed away Friday night in ICU.
Don't know if the other inmates found out about his crime or if he stepped on the wrong toes. Either way could not have happened to a better guy.
The world is a little cleaner now IMO.

Good to hear, that is what Karma is all about.
Now maybe she can start the healing process but things like that usually run DEEP, deeper than most people will ever know. It will effect all aspects of her life in ways she will never realize I'm sure. I have had GF and a wife who had similar experiences in childhood.
Be extremely careful with a girl like that. I'm sure you know and are tough but it's still a good thing to be reminded once in a while, NEVER put yourself in the situation where she can accuse you of anything. I'm sure everything you do will be with the best intentions but I have heard of to many stories where the tables are turned and either the girl decides you are her hero, comes onto you and if rejected she may decide (sometimes unknowingly) you are now the offender and lie about what happened or what didnt happen. You may become her means for revenge now that her father is gone even though you are the one person trying to help her.
Keep someone near at all times, never be completely alone with her. Protect yourself. many good people have gone down due to being wrongfully accused and you know how the system works, you will be guilty until proven innocent and then you will still be guilty to most people by association.
It's easy to get caught up in the moment and leave your guard down. I'm not saying anything would happen, I'm saying she may decide she wants it to and not take rejection well. I'm sure you have heard of it many times so PLEASE protect yourself.

I make sure I am always on camera when dealing with clients. I have seen some counslors get themselves into trouble the way you explained it above. As soon as they accuse you your name is mud even after you are cleared from any wrong doing. Thanks for the extra reminder.

Good to know you are protecting yourself and you realize the consequences even with a rumor or accusation if you are cleared. It's sad that in so many cases you are guilty until proven innocent and even then your reputation has been ruined as you said. Everyone needs a little reminder once in a while. It's easy to get caught up in doing the right thing.

im pretty sure if he was convicted of exploiting a minor and forced rape of his own daughter wouldn't it be unethical for them to make her see the man that has caused her so much pain ????
this so called therapist needs to get there head out there ass hes a convicted sex offender how would they even get around him never being allowed near a minor
contact the prosecutor of the case and let him know and see what he thinks
**** all that cough up 100 bucks and pay for him to be taken care of 30 years my ass it should be life 10 years for every year under the age of 18
and if under the age of 15 should be death

having served some time in my days there is one thing i must say about Prison.. Those guys do not like people who fvck kids.. All it takes is someone to tell the right people and they end up dead. Thank god justice was served, now only if female prisoners could as viscous as their male counterparts this story could trully have a happy ending.
unfortunatley the state places these guys in their own wings now adays because if they get killed then they can get sued.. something you might want to bring up to that girl. she can sue the prison for the wrongful death of her father.. at least that way she can get some money out of it and set something up for herself. it is the prisons job to not let their inmates get killed.. i read a case where someone got 3 million about a year ago because of this.Last edited by MACHINE5150; 02-14-2011 at 09:46 AM.
