ive been thinking about it but have been unsure about doing anything real drastic because dont get me wrong i love acceleration and torque but i have a thing for handling. ive just been unsure about what these swaps will do to the handling and just what will be the overall response of the car with its new found hp/tor.
honestly im thinking about investing in a miata and putting a v8 in it seems like itd be more fun, what do you think

thanks! close tie between the m3 and syclone, the speed on the syclone was stupid fast had it running 12.5's in the 1/4 and the m3 was just an all around fun car except in inclement weather.

i was thinking so, ive always had a thing for m3's, how reliable are they? like any other car? and as for the syclone ha i bet sounds like a fun car to have

Id do the 944 with the LS1 over the Miata anyday. First of, the 944 has a bigger (or just as big) aftermarket for suspension than the Miata and imo, it handles better to start with. Second, the LS1 weight is probably as much, OR LESS than the straight 6 you have in the 944 now. So honestly, you wouldnt be losing any response time or handling aspecs at all.

hmmmm il have to do a little more research in this im liking the idea a little more now, sh*tty part about the engine in it is that its an interference motor which is actually causing me to hate it right now because the other day the timing belt decided to "jump some teeth" and now im in mid process in replacing the head(same price to get a complete head for this car as it is to have one redone) so a different engine would be nice so i dont have to worry about problems like these anymore

Not to sure you should be able to view your profile by now. Maybe you need a few more posts. To be a senior i believe you need over 1,000 if I'm not mistaking.
