So wait is myostatin modification not dangerous? Was this kid a guinea pig or something? I'm just curious why he seems to be the only one in the world they did
it to. Father must really not give a shit about his son to sacrifice him to research like that. When he gets older than he's prob going to be in incredible shape right? Can it kill him though? I'm thinking that can't be good for his heart when he gets older.
And last question how can I modify my myostatin gene? =] Wonder if it would also make my cock bigger lmao.

Flex is said to have a myostatin deficiency. I would assume that most huge pros would have some sort of advantage like that.

If this is a real unaltered pic, then this is just freaky. But cool. Look at the self confidence he is exuding in that pic at that early age. This kid is going to be a babe or dude magnet early in life. No one is going to mess with him in kindergarten either. He'll kick their pampers butts.

Theoeretically a Retrovirus could progressively turn off your Myostatin gene, but it would have to infect each and every cell, and knock out both Allele's. For every gene there are two Allele's. Both Allele's need to be 'knocked out' in order for the gene to be expressed or not expressed. The Retrovirus would essential uncoil the coded section for the Myostatin gene in the Myocyte, and then the cells would then be able to grow without limit. The Myostatin gene essentially limits the size and number of myocytes.
The only "limit" to how much muscle an animal (human, bovine, or other) can put on its frame, is limited by the strength of the bones of the animal, and by the amount of food that the animal/person can consume. It's theoretically possible for a person to with both Myostatin gene alleles knocked out to reach 340lbs at 6% bodyfat, but odds are they would have to spend almost all day, of every day eating to maintain that muscle mass.
The effects on the cardiovascular system, would likely be due to the body's heart not being able to support the immense amount of muscle that the person would be packing on. It would have to pump harder, and therefore would be overtaxed, likely leading to cardiomyopathy (enlarging of the heart). There are just too many variables to consider with this mutation. As with any mutation, the effects on the rest of the systems of the body are usually negatively impacted, as a 'positive' trait is usually accompanied by one or more negative traits or side effects. Point in case would be savonts who have genetic mutations in their brains, allowing them to accomplish marvelous feats of mathematical reasoning, musical talent, etc, but who socially handicapped or inept. They excel in ONE area substantially, while other areas suffer just as substantially. I would assume that the situations between savonts and myostatin mutation would be analgous.

Alright there godfather...between me and you...how much for the retrovirus. I figure with the money dec got for his house and the money i get from welfare, we could afford this no?

This is real. It a real disorder that causes one to produce more muscle due to a mutation. It is naturally occurring and is due to little to none of the protein being produced. Myostatin inhibits muscle growth therefore if you have none you will produce muscle at an accelerated rate
