I need someone (perhaps a female) who can help me identify/price these pocketbooks..
Yeh weird question for ar I know.
I'll put it this way. I was over a friends house and some how wound up in her closet. Looking at all her clothes, shoes, pocket books and got into a conversation about how ridiculously spoiled she is (which she is).
I noticed almost everything she has is either coach, juicy couture, versache, b. makowski, she just has expensive taste. And I'm not really sure how she affords all this junk (she barely works) but I have a feeling a lot of her pretend boyfriends wound up splurging on her and she just never really used the crap.
Anyway. I asked her flat out "what do you plan on doing with this shit", and she said she didn't know. I asked her if she used any of it and she said yes but half of it she doesn't.
I wound up working out a quick business deal, telling her I'll do a 50/50 split if she wants me to sell it for her on ebay. She agreed, now I have 3 bags full of crap and more on the way. The problem is although she paid quite a bit for them, she nor I really have any idea how much they're worth.
I'm not going to post everything unless I find we have some fashion gurus on here that know their shit. But if I post maybe 4-5 pictures can SOMEONE help me figure out roughly what this shit is worth? I'm going to start taking pics now one at a time but figured I'd get this up here first.
I know I can just go auction style on them but I don't want to fvck myself either and sell a $300 pocket book for $20 because I'm an idiot. So ANY help anyone can give, maybe your wife knows, gf, I just need more of a clue really when it comes to this shit, thank you!!! Will start taking pics now lol.

There is a ton of that stuff online. You should be able to see what the approximate market value is by what others are selling for. Unfortunately, much of what is online is fake. People will assume yours is too...and maybe it is, how do you know? All the girls I know that barely work have fake stuff, even if THEY think it is real. Question anything that doesn't have a receipt from Saks (or comparable store).
Still, congrats on your SCORE!

I wish I could help you out. I am not a fashion purse gal. As a matter of fact, I carry the smallest pocketbook of any female I know. If my cell phone fits and a credit card, I am good to go.
If I were you, I would compare on ebay.....that is what I would do if I had a stash

Well I know its not fake because she has the receipts along with the original packaging and all of this shit was bought from either lord & taylor, macy's or just reputable sellers who never sell fake goods (afaik). Some other things came directly from the outlet stores who manufacture the pocketbooks, and I know when she was giving me all this crap she stressed that is was all real. Either way though I'm still a man with a penis and don't really know much of anything about this.
And DSM if I have enough money in my bank I don't really care whether I'm gay, bi, straight or asexual. I was actually considering opening my own ebay store just to sell gay womens pocket books. I'll even model them too if I have to, but the reality is I will still never be quite as gay as you. =] Now, would you like a pocket book or what?

Clothes? Worn clothes? haha I feel dirty posting this shit but seriously I know a lot of you guys have gfs/wives all I need is random numbers thrown my way.
Its not a big deal either way but I was doing this to help me figure out what my reserves should be on ebay, or the least amount of $ to sell them for. It seems no 2 coach pocketbooks look the same and although they're expensive they are all priced totally different, like one might say $80, another $200, which is why I'm a bit confused here.
Either way like I said its not a big deal, I'll figure it out on my own likely doing a few hours research on ebay or w/e.

Fendi and Burberry? I got everything lol. 50% off just because we are ar brothers. So thats like $900 each or something lol jk.
No but seriously she does have both of those brands, and I doubt she'll even care what they sell for. Maybe towards the end I'll link some ebay listings *just encase* people remember annivesaries or birthdays that might be coming up, who knows.

Wow I was not aware that they actually rent this shit that is really quite lame if you think about it. If you can't afford the clothes you wear, renting it just isn't going to make you afford it any sooner. I'll be honest the chick I got this from is for the most part pretty/intelligent but when it comes to finances I see her being homeless in another 5 years. Although I'm sure she'll find a nice sugar daddy by then, and divorce him get half his house and never work a day in her life.
Ok now I'm getting a bit too deep lol. But thats freakn crazy.

I think women who are brand allegiant, will go straight to their brand on ebay. IF the pocketbook is in good shape with no scratches and from a non-smoking home with lots of photos, you might have some good stuff.
Personally? I would no more carry any of those purses but some of my friends do and the ones who do, gush over them and I have no idea why.

i sell shit on ebay asa side job.. all you need to do is do a search on ebay of the name of the stuff find something similar and offer it as buy it now for 10-20% less.. i.e. all the b makowsky bags ar 110-$130.. so sell it for $99.. put a 7 day bid on it.. if it doesn't sell then knock 10-15 bucks off it.. also.. always charge 20 bucks or something for shipping.. ebay does not take part of the shipping but does take part of the sale price.. anywhere from 5-10%.. but usually around 5%. .and paypal takes another 5% on average.. so if you sell it for 99, plus 20 for shipping.. you will end up giving ebay/paypal 10 bucks and spending the other 10 on the actually shipping charge.
Tell your friend to wear the panties for a day.. you will get more for them that way.. haha jk (not really)
