Jerry Seinfield and George Carlin have two very different styles the first thing you notice is jerry is clean and never really messed with subjects that were taboo
and to be honest richard was good but half the stuff wasnt his paul mooney wrote 80% of his stuff and you can see this if you look close to his stand up before and after paul started
carlin however started and finished the same way he always has dirty in your face lets air out all this taboo shit and have a blast later when you were done laughing you were like oh shit half the shit hes saying is true im fu{ked were all fu{ked lol

The reason I found Carlin humerous is because he used to speak of things that I didn't usually hear from so many others. He was so open. And that just made me laugh.

Interesting, but I thing Carlin is funny and Seinfield isn't. These days I am digging Eddie Izzard and Ricky Gervais. I even like Tosh, but that is mostly because he is so snarky. I like comedians that have insights about things rather than just doing setup, punchline, setup, punchline. I like it when I don't know what the punchline will be, and I hate it when I can say the punchline along with the comedian because the setup was so obvious.

yeah tosh is ok for a new guy gervais has done some great performances but might be running out of material..
Thats the thing though seinfield wasn't funny its more like a lecture of the obvious to me and carlin he holds you but when the punchline is crap or not timed right well i find they suck...
Maybe im just the generation of liking the swearing and rude and perverted things in life..

George Carlin was brilliant. Saddest day was when he passed away. We lost a great shaman of philosophy.
