RIP Nate Dogg
Nate dogg passed away today. He's been in pretty bad shape for a couple years now so it's prolly better he's passed. He's been in a wheelchair completely paralyzed and unable to speak due to two strokes.
RIP

I'm so tired of this "Rest in Peace" bs. As if there is any other way to rest than the way we all do when we die? What does "rest in peace" even mean?

As far as tupac im glad he is no longer here
His music was brilliant and still is
Look at how may rappers have gone form being brilliant to now producing crap
Dre, eminem etc...
There music was good and still is but the new stuff is weak.....
That old skool style Rap is no longer popular in the UK atleast... Everyone want to make music like david guetta and rhianna
I gotta say i like drake tho.... Kind of got an old cameron/juelz santana flow

I think your right. I hate saying it because Tupac seemed like the guy that could do no wrong.. his music was so powerful for the most part. But I think his slaying saved his legacy. It was sad when he got killed because he had some big Acting potential.
I never knew Nate Dogg had such declining health, still surprised he is not longer alive.

Wow, where do I begin? Em's stuff is still hott, IMO and with Dre behind the beats and what he did for 50 Cent, they along with Jay-Z are some of the last bastions of real hip hop, left...strictly speaking from a mainstream perspective.
I was never a big Pac fan. Why? Well Pac wasn't really a gangsta! Yeah I said it. He was born in NY went to a performace arts school in Maryland before moving to the bay area at 16-17. Pac didn't catch his first case until AFTER he sold a couple of albums. His story is very similar to Lil Wayne, who was another that grew up good.
I can go on and on about what's good, still, about hip hop. But I won't steal Nate's thunder. He was a good compliment to many artists. Sad to see him go.

Pac for me was the man, Nate's voice was perfect for so many songs. Its a shame in the UK and Ireland that this rap isnt loved as much anymore, its gone really softcore lately

Eazy does it !

Rest In Peace Nate. I'm actually really upset about his passing. He was G-Funk. His voice was like no other. He could make any song good. How many shitty songs were saved by Nate's chorus' really?
