Sounds like my case, except she broke up with me. Everything made sense until she took the initiative and ended the relation. I felt odd for a week or two, but certainly not like shit. She was simply not that into me

Your minds already made up. I gaurantee you'll be back with her. I will put money on it. Your gonna go on your trip and everything will seem great because your on vacation and a month after you get back you'll be unhappy again but you won't leave her then. Why dont you go on the trip but with a good friend? find a friend who will pay their own way and go hit up the town! you dont loose any money and it gives you a chance to get over her. Sounds like a good idea to me?
