America with McCain instead of Obama?
Top Campaign Contributors McCain v Obama
MMkay... so whoever says it would be different with McCain we are not to say for certain..heres what we know...
That both candidates were supported by the same large firms (not all in all but large chunks)...so what conclusion can we draw from this maybe?
The bailouts were happening, the banks did not really care who got elected..as long as one of the two got elected...that tells me it does not matter as there was / is an agenda that leaves out most of the american people...
not sayin Ron Paul is 100% perfect...the dude says evolution is fake for cryin out loud...but he is the only one who cares about America...
just sayin...America is not lost but it seems to be a sinking ship...if Ron Paul is not elected I seriously worry about the country. I think his chances are slim to none...but the American people should just realize that it does not matter. The system is rigged...
thoughts?

Tax benefits
-
I'd rather McCain than Obama. Purely for the fact of no uhc and he agreed with az immigration. And the whole Texas excecuting the illegal Mexican guilty of murder obama tried to put a hold on that.... Those 2 issues make me sick about Obama, that as the fact he used the race card when he isn't even related/ descendent of the blacks brought over from Africa....
The fact that race is still a qualifier for gov benefits is sad and why we can never get away from that. But for insurance issues the race info is good cuz of the increased chances of certain medical issues

mcCain calls himself a republican. hes actually a moderate. he wanted certain things that the liberals wanted like cap and trade (a tax on the people for energy based on the idea that global warming is man made, basically a rich dude pays a poor persons power bill = stealing). most republicans dont want this. most liberals do want cap and trade...at least most did, not sure if most want it now.
so why let a moderate who calls himself a republican damage the republicans reputation with those policies when the liberals already want them. let them keep their bad image for themselves. bush ruined things enough for the republicans during his 2nd term.
if you have your hand in hot water you pull your hand out fast. thats what we are doing in reaction with obama. if you have water warming up you keep your hand in awhile not realizing the damage that is being done before pulling out. that would have been our reaction with mcCain and he would have further ruined things for the republicans on top of bush's damage. no thanks. let obama do that.Last edited by crazy_rocks; 08-11-2011 at 09:03 PM.

I believe that the American people were not paying full attention to the problems 4 years ago or were too early in their phase of denial to really be pulled out of it. But now if you ask any American, they know and they will tell you "our country is ****ed". Just a few years ago you got a lot more positive responses. And I think because of this, our eyes are now fully open, and that some type of drastic accomodation or change will be arranged by the higher ups to fix this problem. Or maybe I am just naive, and the country as a whole really wants to commit suicide.

If McCain, then he better have a very solid VP. I'm concerned about his age. If a guy is running, you have to realistically look at the next 8 years. Will he survive it? If not, then who did he select as his VP?

Which is exactly why I didn't vote for McOld@$$. If he won his heart wouldn't have been able to handle the news and would have dropped dead on the spot. Then we would have been stuck with Palin. People say it was a smart move on his part picking a women since so many liked Hilary but it was the nail in his coffin.
My original vote was for Hilary but sadly she didn't make it. On a side note, you could have put Jesus Christ himself in there and he still wouldn't have been able to pull us out of the hole in 4 years. Obama speaks of change and i have seen a lot of positive change so I am happy with my Obama vote.
