Are the movies in the UK much different than the movies over here? I watched some movie Blitz last night and I was wondering if you guys have new good movies come out frequently (like once a week or twice a month)? Are they just not shown here because you guys talk funny? I had to use subtitles like it was spoken in spanish because the words were unidentifiable.

british gangster movies are number one imo, The Essex Boys (storming underground movie!!), Get Carter (original film) etc. we do 'gritty' much better in UK/IRE

you reckon mate? i think theres an absolute wealth of great Brit flicks. i'll happily sit down to one before i'd watch a hollywood movie, not that there isnt a fantastic amount of those either.
