Herschel Walker
Just watched an amazing show on him on ESPN. What a story of determination. He was a fat kid with a speech impediment that was put in the back of the class because he was thought of as slow. He was picked on and bullied relentlessly. He made a concious decision to change with a determination that can only be described as obsessive. He went on to lead his HS football team to a state championship , graduated validictorian of his class . He went to Greaogia - started as freshman. Led georgia to 3 straight sec championships , won a national championship , won the heisman and literally dominated college football. He ran track, holds several records and beat Carl Lewis. He played pro football , was on the us olympic bobsled team , performed in a nationally recognized ballet , and competes in professional MMA.
Hes 49 yrs old. Does 1000-2000 sit ups /day. 750-1500 pushups/day. 500 dips/day. Handstand pushups to failure evry night before bed. He runs the 40 in 4.39 seconds.
What an example of what determination , perseverance and hard work can achieve.

My damn DVR only recorded half of it. Have it set to record the next time it comes on. I showed it to my son, and told him..."see you can get anything you want if you set your mind to it"
That National Championship came when he was a TRUE FRESHMAN!!!
