When a Dude Calls a Girl "Trouble"
Ok...heard this the other day ......not the first time for me.
Guys...your opinion (giving none of you know the circumstances); but in cryptic guy code...what would this mean?

depends on her background and one's opinion of what trouble means to them.

So a guy says to you "you're trouble"
Sounds to me to be a flirtatious way to say that he would do bad things with you. More so if he's in a relationship and seeing if you would be willing to mess around on the down low.

It really depends on context. It could be a compliment. Or it could mean flat out crazy. I have used that term before though and its usually a compliment.

trouble defined from man - "stay away from at all costs"

Agree with above that context is important, but if I were to say "that girl is trouble" it would probably mean she is flaky, high-drama or undependable.
In the right context, it can be good. Like dangerous, spicy, adventurous.

Prolly means he wants to rip your clothes off with his teeth and do naughty stuff to you all night, if he really thought you were trouble he would've just walked away with some sort of lame excuse.

One of 2 things:
1- A failry weak attempt to flirt. Ultimate goal- to get woman thing about you and what you meant by what was said. Usually only effective on the most insecure of women.
2- Crazy Bitch

Wait, did someone say that to you directly? In that context (if it was me) it means "I want to get you drunk and hook up."
Just sayin'

if it was said to you directly before a date and you still went on a date id assume he was a way of flirting and basically saying you seem bad ass and will get him to do things he normally wont. he likes it

Your picture in your avi explains the whole statement...you definately look like "Trouble" to me....of course lots of guys love to get into "Trouble"
Seriously, I am sure it was meant as a comment on having a smokin body.

In the context he used it, it was a compliment. Meaning that you're sexy and dangerous.
If you had overheard his buddy saying that to him about you, it would mean that you're a crazy bitch and should be avoided.

It can also mean he is intimidated by you, insecure and you are out of his league, you are more adventuresome so to him you are trouble or you would/might do things he would not normally. Also agree it's a weak compliment. It's better you find a guy who is trouble (not in a bad way) who will keep you interested and be able to keep up with you.

I am going to go with this one a little more. Guys say to other guys... damn, she is trouble. Meaning....they would like to do naughty things and probably shouldn't. Now... I would never use it as a pick up line... maybe to mess around to a close girl-friend that understands what that means in a flirtatious way I guess. But, I hardly ever heard it as a bad thing. If a girl is low life junky and you say she is trouble... it would mean something entirely different. But no one would tell that girl to her face that she is "trouble" if it was in that context.

he said it before it took u on date??? it was to take ur attention. After cpl of times of "sticky" dates he will runaway thinking u r too confident.

omg you guys make such more out of things.
I've said that plenty of times to girls.
Never has it been because im insecure or she is out of my league or any of the reasons.
Also i would never use it as a compliment.
The last time i said it i meet some girl at a club. We were dancing and flirting all night. We were like 2 inches from each other face. Not kissing but teasing each other. lots of sexual tension. And i said your trouble with a little smirk and we started hooking up.Last edited by gixxerboy1; 10-26-2011 at 09:09 AM.

To me when a guy says "here comes trouble" it is usually a compliment as the girl approaching is one to be noticed.
If a guy says "she's trouble" then not a compliment since more than likely she is difficult with lots of drama.Life is too short, so kiss slowly, laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly.Author Unknown
