    just bought a new motorcycle!!

    Just bought a 98 CBR F3 lol. old skool. Got it dirt cheap, anyone familiar with the F3, good or bad??

    yeah, a mate gave me extensive use of his afew years ago. they're great bikes, its a honda after all. a do everything sports bike

    I'm very familiar.. What do ya need to know? I just got rid of my 2002 f4i stunt bike.. I have a 2007 cbr1000rr and a yamaha r6 too now.. I love bikes

    well basically how reliable are they, I just drove it home to the garage and it ran sooo nice... wheelies all the way home, I loved it. It sits there till next april though, so sad. Ive owned yamaha 600s b4, not impressed, but Ive always heard great things bout honda, espicaly the cbr.

    they're ultra reliable, ive a 929rr blade here that hasnt missed a beat in 2.5yrs.

    r6's can be fragile enough, bad gearboxes in them

    very reliable. It just matters how well it was taken care off since its old

    F3s and f4s and f4is are often used for stunt.. Does it have a cage on it? If no, check the frame and sides for marks of rust or markings a cage had been there.. Not that that means it wasn't taken care of.. Bit first thing, change the oil and oil filter.. Get the castrol motogp oil if u can.. I like to use that in my bikes.. But Gondar for the most part have no problems and last forever if maintained

    bikes that have been constantly wheelied suffer from oil starvation and eventually need rebuilds

    awesome thanks for the info guys... so oils though, anyone ever use AMS oil (full synthetic) or what brand do you guys swear by?

    i dont use synthetic. I wipped a bunch of cams in my gixxer and the mfg swore it was the oil switched to conventional and never had a problem again

    mine has castrol race oil everytime, costs 70e a shot but best to use the best imo

    That's the same stuff I use dec.. The castrol moto oil
