Hate to sound like a broken record but it gets me that the US will spend millions trying to shut down an internet download site but keeps it's borders open to illegal drugs. So illegal drugs good, downloads bad....lol

Never heard of megaupload but they've been rainin on our parade for a long time. I remember back a bunch of years ago when they shut down Kazaa and Limewire. Also in the more recent years they killed Isohunt and the site I used to stream movies from. If they decide to shutdown Youporn my high-speed internet will be utterly useless.

what happened with piratebay? i remember hearing they tried shut it down but its still up and running, from a copyright infringement point of view, surely they are far worse offenders than any streaming site, and also they piss off major coporations such as microsoft and downloading a film is surely worse than streaming a film in the industrys eyes? im not wanting the piratebay to close as its like my second home im just curious as to know why they havent been touched, any ideas?

Anonymous are waging war against this.
They have been DDOS'ing various sites and government websites for days on end and it won't stop.
