    IPAD 2 users

    So I recently got one and think I may have made a mistake. First the battery life sucks! Is it a bad battery or are they all like this.

    I went with the IPAD 2 without 3G and just wi-fi. I use this to convert a cell signal to wi-fi

    I lose connection all the time even when I still have phone service. And the battery on this thing sucks.

    Should I have gone with the 3G built into the IPAD?

    Battery:

    I can only think of 3 reason why my battery life would suck

    1. its bad
    2. always searching for wi-fi signal
    3. connected to BlueTooth....I have a key board.

    I had the same battery problem with my iPhone, I took it back to the store & got it exchanged & still had the exact same problem, I think its just one of the flaws of Apples "i" products. But I never had any of the signal problems you speak of. Does the iPad get really hot too?

    No doesnt get hot. What's happening is, I'm losing the hotspot to the cell towers?

    No signal lost here, battery is pretty decent too, do you have wifi, or too many apple open?

    always searching for wifi is what is draining it for sure.

    try to connect other things to the hotspot and see if you have issues with lost connection. If the other things do then the hotspot is bad, if they don't your wifi on the iPad is bad and needs to be serviced...

    My iPad is brilliant. Use it every night. Got it to replace browsing on a laptop. Battery perfect. Never gets hot
