The majority of NFL players just like any other sport are people who although might not be perfect, aren't scumbags either. It's just the media doesn't sell papers or get TV ratings when they cover the good guy stories. So those guys go under the radar.

What about all the charities started by nfl players.....? They have charities for everything from sick children to raising money for veterans. They also support breast cancer research and raise awareness by wearing Pink on gamedays durring the year.

Every sport will have it's bad apples...... hell.... every job, every school, every clique of friends will have a few bad apples in the group. Can't hate on an entire organization for the mistakes of a few but if you do.... then you have to hate every sport because the same shit goes on everywhere.

I like MMA too but football is awesome, I like Razr , but who cares if there are bets and bounties on bad hits.....fvckers get paid millions to entertain me so let em entertain me, it's a dirty sport with dirty players, if your looking for good sportsmanship and fine upstanding young men with good moral character.....look somewhere else and leave football alone.

Agreed and actually it went on a lot more than now but no one especially women were willing to come forward about it and like everything else the media makes everything a public circus all for the ratings.

If you want to make things better then be a good example, not a quitter and walking away.

Overpaid yes but since MMA became a sanctioned sport other sports just seem like golf or darts to me. Then add in the history of strikes and my interest has turned to discust. MMA brings out a premortial instinct and interest in me that dates back millions of years in human evolution to a time when cavemen bashed eachother on the heads with rocks. Theres other factors but you get my point.

You might want to look into how the UFC treats it's lower contract fighters and other MMA organizations. Talk about corruption. Makes Don King look like a saint.

To think any sport isn't going to be influenced by money is kinda nuts.

No I hear what your saying bro, I just dont think the other sports deserve the money they get the same way tv evangelists that exploit people dont deserve the money they get. These dudes have had it so good for so long and most think they dont get enough. But my initial comment wasnt entirely based on money....
