Aiming for 500 posts after all this time, lets talk accutane
So guys tell me your experiences with accutane for others to have a read and see if it is right for them...
I tried all types of over the counter creams and standard prevention which did nothing at all for full blown acne on cycle.
Prescribed Myocylin (spelling) didnt do bugger all.
Prescribed Bactum, did a bit but miss one tab and it was all back, still had constant blemishes and many pimples all over.
Scored some liquid accutane, start out at 20mg a day for a week just to get it into the system at the start of cycle, dropped to 15mg for a few days,
then 10mg for a few more, down to 7.5mg and up and down to 5mg per day. * weeks in total of THREE pimples that whole time.
Only side effect at the dosing below 10mg has been slightly dry lips and 2 short blood noses that didnt last more than a few minutes.
At such a low dose, I find this to be the perfect solution FOR ME, each to their own and do your homework before taking any drugs
But this sh*t is amazing

I used liquid Accutane also. I found while using it it really helped me with acne and like your story I might have had a couple of zits but nothing like before. Before accutane I used to get some really bad acne I would call it "cystic" acne, that bad acne where the zit is painful and swolen but doesn't form a head. Since running accutane for months I noticed I did occasionally get a clogged pore or a small zit but they were small. I've been off the accutane for at least a couple of months probably longer I forget maybe 4 months and I am starting to get an occasional zit on the face or other areas where I was getting none before. They are still small as if it did something to dry the pores, so there is residual after affects of using accutane. I have heard of some people using it and never having zits again ever. I am going to run it again next cycle.

When I was 15 I took the maximum amount of Accutane my dermatologist could prescribe me. Over the better part of a year, I went from having cystic acne to none. Since then, I rarely wash my face, take nothing, and use no creams. I probably average 2 pimples a year. In my opinion, Accutane is a miracle drug.

I used accutane 40mg a day than 60mg a day and than 80mg a day but had to stop due to liver and cholesterol going out of normal at 80mgs a day. I see the dermo next week and will be going back to 60mg a day.. It does work wonders, I had. I had about 100-200 puss filled pimples on my back to none currently.. I have a few pimples on my chest since stopping, but yea this shit rocks lol

accutane is the way forward, between 10-20mg ed depending what im running, i couldnt cycle without it i would be literally covered in acne
the side effects are way over hyped
people abuse medication even alcohol and it can be alot more hepatoxic than accutane and they live to tell the tale

^ ^ ^ ^ ^
yeah at 60-80mg that is to be expected and so is an increase in liver values but the way some people go on about it you would swear heroin is safer
I.M.O accutane is the best bar none for acne prevention, how i use it is for prevention hence little to no sides since its 10-20mg
to clear up existing acne, depending on the cause of it up to 80mg is needed like you said above but still at that dose the pros massively outweigh the cons
if i had a carpet on my back i wouldnt even feel comfortable going for a sauna in the gym and some of the things ive had growing on my face in past i wouldnt feel comfortable even leaving the house
for me accutane has actually greatly improved my life
yes there is a bit of a bromance going on here with me and accutane lol, but acne seriously kills confidence and that in turn drags you down in all areas of life

Agree completely and especially on the side effects being hyped up, the key IMO is moderation. As I mentioned 7.5md Ed works a treat I might try to drop to 5mg. Only side effect was 2 blood noses and slightly dry lips, pawpaw cream sorted that out.
And that's 500 posts for me, can I be a VET now? Lol

How long to you think you could run accutane at 5-10mg ED without causing much harm to your body? Im guess it would be quite long...
Im asking as im contemplating starting a slingshot later in the year after having some swimmers frozen
