First off, I'm pretty tanked right now...I just wanted to shed some light on a subject I don't even know if people talk about...

You know when you wake up in the middle of the night and you turn the lights on and then your eyes burn...And then you can't see straight for a few seconds?

Here is the trick, before you turn the lights on, close your eyes for at least 5 seconds and then turn on the light. And vice versa, if the lights are on and you want to turn them off close your eyes for a few seconds...They will adjust accordingly..You let me know how you fellas feel.......

If I wake up in the middle of the night to piss I don't even turn the lights on. Just bounce off my walls half asleep with my hand out in front feeling for familiar spots. Then when I go to piss I can tell how far away from the toilet bowl I am by the sound of it, the more water impact the more on point I am, the less, means I'm getting farther away from the center of the toilet. Been doin it for years!

All the dudes on midwatch had those. Are berthing would be pitch black and the only thing you could see was the LED lights moving around there rack!

I should invest in something like that so my lady doesn't have to keep reminding me how disgusting I am for not getting 100% of my urine into the toilet bowl

I just put in my mouth, bite down slightly to activate the LED, and then all the "hands free" light i need.

and for $2 at Camp Eggers, these things last a long time!
