Thank you all so much!!!! It is so touching/comforting to recieve such support from you guys when actual blood family rarely calls to see if I'm alive lol. It's a shame you don't get to pick your family, but the mister and I have MADE a fantastic family. I can only update briefly as my meds have me pretty loopy and trying to focus is incredibly difficult. Well, I have suffered from absent seizures since I was young. In my twenties, it was also discovered that I had a blood disorder. For years we were unable to figure out exactly what it was, I hemorrhaged giving birth to both my sons and almost died, I hemorrhaged several other times, once following a surgery and it wasn't caught. I ended up bleeding internally for more than thirty hours before I was brought back to the OR where they drained nearly 3000cc of blood from my abdomen and gave me seven blood transfusions. It took all of this to finally get some doctors to try and find a diagnosis. I now have a diagnosis of LP-PLA2 ??? At least I believe that was what I last was told lol. With that and the seizures, I was producing clots in my brain. I was put on blood thinners and several, SEVERAL, other medications which keep the seizures and clots to a minimum. Most are very minor clots that have generally dissipated before they even get a look in there. Some have had to be broken up/ removed via angio. This weekend had been a particularly painful couple days, and I was worried I had a clot that wasn't so small. I also was suffering from serious cognitive difficulties, just reading, writing, texting, talking, so we knew I had to get in. I have been placed on yet some more meds and will be going I. For bloodwork and another eeg and I honestly can't remember what else. I'm actually surprised I could recall this much AND communicate it intelligently. I will get back on here when I can sit at the laptop for a few minutes coherently. Love to you all, and thank you so very much.
