This is fvcking ridiculous. It's a great hardship being deaf, especially at 3 years old, but now you want him to change his signed name and expect him to comprehend/understand why?

I'd like to go to that school and punch the superintendent and principle in the face.

I can BARELY understand the school's zero tolerance rules that result in kids getting suspended for bringing Advil or a small butter knife (or some other tool that has a main purpose other than murdering people) to school. But, a sign made with is hands? Because it resembles a weapon?

Funny thing is, if you watch the video you will notice the parents do it with their fingers crossed but the kid doesn't. It looks like he is giving the friendly peace sign.

I'll answer my own question. Because the staff at educational facilities is scared of them actually bringing a gun to school and blowing the staff away (quite a possibility amongst these hoodlums) the school district is also scared that they'll lose their job for a hate crime/stereotyping if they do take action. So they decide its acceptable and a lot less stressful to pick on a three year old deaf, white, child...
