If you watch closely in the beginning you can see another bystander throw water on the cop, I think the jack booted thug smacked the wrong person......video recordings will be the death of these thugs with badges.......I love it!!!!

It doesn't matter who threw the water - he's unjust either way. Water isn't intent to kill or considered a dangerous weapon. He should have went behind her and made an effort to cuff her, if she resisted - he should have tackled her and restrained her. Smacking her in the mouth is going to be very hard to justify in a court room.

Well you see upon reaching said woman, officer mcfriendly lost his balance and in the frey of falling he violently reached out to catch his fall against said woman thereby accidentally grazing said woman in the facial area. There was no malicious intent whatsoever. That is his story and he is sticking to it...LOL

It took several times watching it at the beginning to see who was where but you are correct. The water came from the far left side from someone out of sight and went over her head. You can actually see the guys arm throwing the water on the far left of the screen. Clearly it was not her and more important clearly he had no excuse to smack her in the face even if it was her.

Hopefully (but we all know he wont) he will loose his job or be suspended WITHOUT pay for several months and have to take special training before he is let back on the force after a full investigation to see if there are other cases in the past that have been brought up against him dismissed or not.
Rarely are these instances a one time or 1st time occurrence but only the first time he was caught.

What I don't get is there are a shitload of cops that witnessed what that pig did. Why didn't any of them step in and arrest the cop?

Do they ever? No it's one of the good ole boy clubs and they protect their own even if they are wrong. Look at all the other videos of similar situations. When it happens their buddies cheer them on, jump in to help, hold the person down or try to make sure no one is watching or video taping it.

After watching a few more times you can see it looks like she does throw some water at the beginning but it's not the shot that got the cops attention. Either way it's only water and at best she could have been detained. Wrong on many levels all from the police.

See the other videos? Lots of them saying the police are the worst in Philadelphia. Lots of good videos.

Sad thing is if an officer did this to my wife while I was right there I would beat the shit out of him and go to jail, or actually get royally screwed by the rest of the cops. Those kinds of things usually trigger an anger and immediate response.
